Say Hello Diamonds Giveaway

Hey all, I have a fabulous giveaway to share with you today. This is just in time for Mother's Day! Good luck

I was given the chance to try out a pair of Say Hello Diamonds Pantina earrings. This review is fully my own and the opinion may differ from that of yours.
Lately I have been looking for some earrings that are classy and yet I can wear them every day with no worries of them looking out of place.

When I received my Pantina Earrings from Say Hello Diamonds, I was thrilled. They came in a little black box and they were everything that I was looking for. I have not taken them off one day since I received them. I wanted to make sure that they would stand the test of little ones and so that is why I waited a while to do my review. I have worn them out to eat with the hubs, to job interviews, and even just to the grocery store with my hair in a bun. They look classy and elegant and not the least bit gaudy.
Here is a little bit about Say Hello Diamonds:
Say Hello Diamonds Founder Jeannie Manzo believes that everyone should be able to afford the thrill of luxury jewelry without breaking the bank. Her products have the look of real diamonds and her team takes the time to inspect each product to ensure perfection in every piece.
Our superior craftsmanship, exceptional quality and design integrity insures your special gift will last for years to come. Tell your loved one that they’re always on your mind with a surprise pair of earrings or a theme piece. Never forget to express your love for your partner, family, and friends.
My Verdict:
If I would not have known that they were not real diamonds, I would not have been able to tell the difference. It gives me the style that I want without having to break the bank! My hubs had to do a double take when I had these on. That is how real and sparkly that they really do look. The compliments that I got on these were a deal sealer for me!

The Giveaway:
And now for the part that you have all been waiting for, THE GIVEAWAY! I am please that I am able to offer one of my readers a pair of these Pantina Earrings for themselves. Make sure you enter on the rafflecopter below.

Soda Stream Take Two

Soda Stream Take Two
Hey guys, we've got another review for you on the Soda Stream products.  This one is the Soda Stream Source and the starter kit retails for $129.99 in plastic and $149.99 for the metal version.  I know Miss Ruby was excited to get her Soda Stream Jet but was let down on the performance.  My boyfriend on the other hand knows many people he works with that have and use a Soda Stream on a frequent basis so he decided he wanted us to get one.  I decided okay if we're going to spend a lot of money on a soda maker we're going to get the better version we saw at Target which was the Source since it has LED lights showing how much carbonation you're getting instead of just guessing and it looked like a sturdier model than the Jet.

Right away we had problems.  The bottle wouldn't get a good enough seal when locking it into place so you'd get about half the carbonation you needed and then it would start to screech where the CO2 was leaking out.  We eventually figured out if you just pump the lever instead of holding it down it seemed to help get enough carbonation into the water to make a soda.

The next issue we had was that you really don't know how much of the syrup to use.  There IS a line indicator on the inside of the cap to measure but with a lot of the flavors it just doesn't taste right.  Like you either have too little flavoring or too much.  At this point you're wasting the CO2 and the syrup just to get the taste right.  Now I drink diet soda almost exclusively, so once I found a concentration of syrup that worked for me I didn't think their Diet Dr. Pete or generic Coke Zero was all that bad.  My boyfriend however kept telling me anything he tried always had a funny taste to it and tasted like a diet drink.  I thought he was crazy because he swore what he was making was mislabeled and was really a diet drink.  So I tasted the regular Dr. Pete he had made and told him there is no way that's diet because I can taste the sugar in it.  Trust me, I've been drinking diet drinks so long I definitely know the difference.  But I did notice something off that I probably wouldn't have noticed in my diet drinks because the artificial sweetener sometimes leaves an odd after taste that I'm used to by now.  But his drink was bitter.  You can actually taste the CO2.  If any of you have ever had the misfortune to taste carbonated water without flavoring you know what I'm talking about, just fizzy and bitter as hell.  So the carbonation was making the soda taste bitter.

Boyfriend was frustrated about spending all this money on the Source and the extra bottles and the syrups etc and was talking to people at work one night that had always said they loved their Soda Stream.  When he brought up the bitter after taste of the CO2 the all the people that were making arguments for why he shouldn't return the Soda Stream seemed to have an epiphany, and they all agreed that "Yeah it does kind of taste funny but I thought it was just me."

Needless to say we took back the Soda Stream Source.  It was a huge disappointment, now we're stuck with all these bottles of syrup we spent money on and can't use.  If you're thinking about getting a Soda Stream, DON'T!  Save your money and buy a few cases of actual soda.

Salon Gel Polish Starter Kit

Salon Gel Polish Starter Kit
This product was provided to me in exchange for an honest unbiased review based on ease of use, quality and pricing. All thoughts in this review are my own based on my personal experience with this product.

Sally Hansen has come out with a great product in their Salon Gel Polish Starter Kit!  I love this product, it truly is like getting a manicure at home.  The kit is slightly expensive for $64.99 at Wal-Mart online but its totally worth it once you see the results.  The Kit comes with the first clear coat, gel nail color, and the clear top coat.  It also includes an emery file to shape your natural nails and a cuticle stick to help push back your cuticles if yours are overgrown, acetone polish remover, an LED curing light and ten buffing pads.

I know the price seems pretty high at first but honestly its super easy to apply and lasts for weeks.  I have really thin nails that break all the time and this product also helped keep my nails from breaking.  Now I have seen some online reviews where people did not like this product but when you read their main complaint it is that the polish never dries.  After each coat you'll put your nails under the LED light and cure them and yes, they will be tacky, it is also recommended that the color be applied in two thin coats and to cure after each coat.  Now its finally time for step three.  Apply the top clear coat, and don't worry ladies the bottles are marked 1,2 and 3 so you won't get it wrong I promise.  Cure your nails for thirty seconds for the final time.  The light times out at thirty seconds which is great!  Now, your nails will still be slightly tacky like regular polish that is only half dry.  This is where the buffing pads come in, use them to lightly wipe the extra residue off your nails.  Now when you touch them they are hard as a rock.  I think the persons leaving reviews online where you can purchase the product are not reading or following the directions properly.  The Starter Kit comes in three colors but there are a ton of other colors that can be purchased separately and the process is still the same.  I did try this product with regular nail polish and it did not cure properly and just ended in a mess.  You also have the option to leave out the color all together and just used the bottom and top coat.  This will harden your natural nails and give them a great shine for weeks.

Now ladies who pick at your nails, follow the instructions in the box for removal and use the acetone remover and wrap your nails in aluminum foil so all of the coats come off at once.  I did try pealing them off and its just like pealing off acrylic nails, your top layer of nail tends to come off with the gel coating so this is a big no no!

If you run out of anything you can purchase refill kits, now you have to use the emery file to shape and then buff your nail and the pads to clean your nails before and after application.  The kit only comes with ten pads so you can use a regular emery file if you need to and the ingredients in the pads are 99% rubbing alcohol.  So if you run out of pads before you need to purchase a refill kit with the bottom and top coat you can use just your basic everyday alcohol pad like the kind you have in your first aid kit.  Or if you're like me I have alcohol pads everywhere for checking my blood sugar and they cost less than a dollar for a box of 100.

You can find more information on this product at sallyhansen.com along with instructional videos and helpful tips and where to purchase.

These pictures are after two weeks of wear and tear on my nails.  I'm a cuticle picker and nail biter by habit and the product stood up very well.  It also helped curb my biting habit because the nails are so hard.  Now, I'm right handed and this thumb was solid as a rock.  A few days after this was taken, I was at the shooting range trying to load the last round into my six round magazine (no ladies, not the kind you read, the kind you shoot.)  I have a .40 caliber pistol and if you've ever loaded a magazine you know the last one or two are a real bitch to get in because the spring is so tight.  My thumb slipped sideways and the thin edge of the magazine took a chunk right out of the middle of my nail.  Had I not had this Gel Polish on to harden my nail I would have bent my entire nail back and broken it off to the nail bed.  Then I would have had to do the HOLY CRAP I BROKE A NAIL AND IT HURTS dance in front of all the men on the range.  Instead all I had missing was a small chunk in the very middle the width of the side of the magazine.  Let me tell you, that hurt way less and made my nail salvageable once I got home.  If I wasn't already hooked, I am now!

l'uvalla Balancing System review

l'uvalla Balancing System review

I received the following product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own and not influenced by others.

I have combination skin like many others out there and have tried many products to help with the issues I have faced. Usually I ended up with dry patches because what was already non oily was becoming drier and flakier in response to the products. Well let me tell you about l'uvalla, I don't have those crazy dry patches and most of my face is clear ( all except along my chin line its stubborn.) I also don't have problems with my face becoming overly oily in places as it has in the past, which left me wanting to scrub my face midway through the work day.

Krill Oil supplement

Krill Oil

This is a sponsored post but nonetheless I would not recommend something I didn't believe would benefit my readers.

I recently learned of a supplement called krill oil. What is a krill you ask? It's a shrimp like creature that whales and other aquatic creatures tend to eat. Interesting fact is in Norwegian, the word "krill" means "whale food."

Krill Oil is used to treat many things including menstrual cramps. I know in the last few years I have had some painful periods, and I know that for many women that is the norm.. I believe this could be beneficial to you my readers in helping find a natural relief without all the chemicals that is in Tylenol and aspirin. The natural remedies are coming back into popularity and people like knowing where the substances they are putting in their bodies ( and their families) come from.

Many have been using fish oil to provide animal-based omega-3 fats (the good fat) but studies have shown that Krill oil is highly superior to fish oil.

What does it do that Fish oil doesn't??

•promotes lipid metabolism
•Helps regulate the mitochondrial respiratory chain.
•Decreases cholesterol synthesis (instead of raising it.)

There is much online to be found about Krill Oil and its wonderful benefits. I wanted to share with you what I have learned so that you may be exposed to a new Natural supplement that may make your life better.

The Worst Birthday present ever.

Sorry I haven't posted much lately all! Life has been a little crazy. Thursday was my 25th birthday and I went to see the new OZ movie and loved it. Then Friday while our out of town guests were getting ready to leave we were at a stop sign and got rear ended so now I'm doing my first ever accident claim. Happy 25th birthday to me right? My poor baby, I've not even had her a year. Hope all is good with you.

Fresh Balls

Fresh Balls
This product was sent to me in exchange for an honest review.  My thoughts and recommendations in this review are my own based only on the quality and pricing of the product.

This one is for the male audience this time ladies.  Or maybe you ladies have a man in your life that could benefit from this product.  This my friends is a wonderful product called Fresh Balls.  Apparently, most men suffer from what my boyfriend calls "swampy balls".  Others call it "bat wings".  If these terms are new to you then you're probably not a guy.  It has been brought to my attention that pretty much every man in the word suffers from sweaty balls and until now there were no practical or healthy solutions.
Well one man took this problem into his own "um" hands and created Fresh Balls, a completely natural product with no Aluminum, Parabens or Talc which can be toxic to the body.  Since my boyfriend is always sweaty "down there" he's been using it for the last few days and LOVES it.  On a scale of Zero to Swampy after putting on the Fresh Balls he would rate the sweat and stickiness at a zero and loves the product.  He applied the product after his shower before work and it's been over 24 hours since his last application and he's still fresh and dry.  I do need to state he has not showered and did not do any physical activity other than sleeping and gaming today since its his day off.
The product is $9.99 for a 3 fl oz. tube and after a few days boyfriend says it's totally worth it.  You don't need to use much and the product comes out as a lotion and when it dries he can't really tell there's anything there.  (No greasy or powdery residue.)  He did however mention a slight warming sensation during and right after application until the product dried but not enough to burn or cause any pain.

The Fresh Balls Company also makes Fresh Breasts and Fresh Feet which help keep those respective body parts fresh and dry.  The other products are still 3 fl oz. for $9.99 each and have the same all natural ingredients.
I would absolutely recommend these products.  Click the link below to check out their website and the Fresh Balls line of products.  You can also place an order through their online store.
