Madam Glam Color Changing Gel Polish- Swatches

Madam Glam Color Changing Gel Polish

From Indigo to Blue
First up is My Boo a pretty indigo to blue color changing gel polish. For the application I used 3 coats as I found myself applying really thin coats, 2 coats did not cut it. The formula was really easy to work with and glided on the nail with ease. I am loving this combo.

Superchic Lacquer Swatches

 Superchic Lacquer
"Dreamology"

Hello everyone!
I want to share with you these intense holographic nail polishes I was sent to share with you.
I own one collection of holographic polish and they are from Color Club. After seeing these
I think I will pass on buying the 2012 set. These polishes are heaven and all you need.
My information paper said they are one coat polishes. HMMM?. I was thinking I better swatch these to find out. I thought it was total BS. Well take a look for yourself. The paper did not lie.

Here is the whole collection consisting of 6 intense Holographic polishes.
These retail for S10.00 US. You can use my code OPAL18 and get 10 % off at check. Free shipping on orders over $50.00.
You can purchase these polishes separately. I would recommend the base and top coat.

 Let's Talk Polish

***R.E.M. is an intense ebony black linear holographic. I only applied 1 coat and  Marvel Star Top Coat for these photos. The rainbow holographic is so pretty mixed with this black.
I took these 3 photos out in the direct sun light.

***Realm Of Erotica is an intense racy red linear holographic. I used 1 coat and Marvel Star Top Coat for these photos. Very pretty color to wear for the summer.

***No Rest For The Wicked is an intense deep emerald green linear holographic. I used 1 coat and Marvel Star Top Coat for these photos. These 3 photos were taken out direct sunlight.
Not sure why but this green reminds me of Christmas.

***40 Winks is an intense deep violet purple linear holographic. I used 2 coats and Marvel Star Top Coat for these photos. These 3 photos were taken out direct sun light.

DIY HARD NAIL Gel Polish Swatch

DIY HARD NAIL GEL POLISH
(Pronounced “Die-Hard” nails)
Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you these thermal gel polishes from DIY Hard Nails. These gel polishes are a first for me and I am having fun using them. What makes them cool is that they change colors when in heat or cold. They are so fun to wear.

I had chosen these two colors.
Gel nails are so easy. Before receiving these I never got into gel nails because
I thought they were difficult and a lot of work to apply. I thought
wrong.

All of the DIY Hard Nail color changing polishes have a thick creamy formula, and they are loaded with glitter. I really love the look of these. They are really easy to apply.

Let's talk polish...

Ice Queen is frosted white with purple undertones when nails are warm and changes to deep purple when nails are cold. Full of multi-sized Glitter. Even more stunning than the photos. There is a blue color when it is in the middle of both hot and cold. Which I love that color.

Pink Galaxy is bright pink when nails are warm and changes to dark purple when nails are cold. Full of multi-sized Glitter. Even more stunning than the photos. I thought this was going to be purple when warm, I do like that pink is the main color. Its so vibrant and pretty.

So lets talk polish....
First up is this pretty bright pastel pink. This color would look great for spring and summer.
I applied two thin coats and the gel top coat. I was very pleased with the application.
The consistency was great and easy to apply.

Next up is this mint green pastel. The color dot on the top of the lid is more blue then what is in the bottle. Either way the color is still amazing. The consistency and application was great.  I applied
two thin coats and gel top coat.

Next is a pastel purple. I applied two thin coats and a the gel top coat. Lately I been loving
blues and purples. The consistancy and application was very smooth.

Last color in this collection is a very pretty peachy nude. Could be pastel too. I am not that great at describing color but lets just look how pretty this color is. I really like it. I applied three coats on this one. Was a little patchy with two coats. Also applied a thin layer of gel top coat. Was very easy to work with.

Which is it Peach or Nude?

How pretty are these pastels. Are you more of a pastel lover or neon. I love my neons but these are for sure very pretty for spring.

I love the bottles in the Big line from Sally Hansen. They are the same bottles they decided to go with on the ColorFoil collection. I have been alternating this with the Insta-Dri top coat so that I could test them both out. This will smear nail art so if you are doing nail art I would recommend going with the Insta-dri topcoat instead of this.

Sally Hansen Big Shiny topcoat

I did use it over You had me at hello kitty and there was still some glitter poking out after 3 coats. This is not a topcoat that will feel glittery hungry polishes. I would say 2 coats of this plus a coat of insta-dri should be perfect. I didn't have issues with using this top coat. The dry time was around normal and it left my polish shiny. I would say this top coat is best to use over non glitter polishes.
