Sailor Moon is being re released this year and I know I am know I am not the only one excited about this fact. Sailor Moon has never lost popularity over the years and has always been a turn up at Cos play events. With the new show it has a chance to reach a new generation and grow even more in popularity. 

Sailor Moon is just one of many anime characters with the odango hair style. While the hairstyle may not be hard for those with easily managed hair people with hair like mine dread it. The traditional way of making this hair style includes looping a knot. This is where it gets scary for me! My hair has a mind of its own and will snake around hair ties and create knots even on the tangle free kind. So if I was to do the traditional way I could end up having to cut my hair to get the knots out. No thank you! Here is the awesome part, for those with hair like me you can use the Whirl a style!

When I was a kid ThunderCats was a big thing. I loved the show and when I got the chance to review the Sword of Omens I was super excited. When I was around 8 years old I collected play swords and actually did "sword fights" with my cousins with them or broom sticks. I always wanted to get into fencing as well but its not something that I knew where to go to get into. I mean its not that common everywhere like it once was.

Ok I admit I was born in the 80's but I don't remember those years because I was 2 when they ended so in truth I am a 90's child through and through. I was into Toonami like most 90's kid and jumped right in front of the tv after school to watch shows like Dragon ball Z, Sailor moon, and many more.

Sailor moon has been an obsession of mine for many many years. Basically I have been obsessed with Sailor Moon for as far back as my memories run. I had the keychains, the dolls, comics, wands, and musical lockets. They weren't all made the best but I loved them still I even made a few things of my own Including Sailor Moon Monkey

I recently was given the chance to work with birthday in a box. They have a wide selection of products from party supplies to costumes, they have just about everything you could ever need no matter the occasion. It was so hard to pick an item from the selection!

 I love capes and I have one since High school and its nearing retirement age. The pictures above were taken in either 2006 or 2007 by friends. 

I was going through the Women’s party costumes When I stumbled upon a cape! Then I searched for capes using the search box and I can say I spent some time deciding which cape to go with! After much thought  I selected the Womens 63 Deluxe Black Velvet w/ Purple Satin Adult Cape.
