Yume Lacquer Moonlight Defender collection

I have been what you would call a Moonie since I was very young. I was excited when I discovered other moonies in the nail polish community which is where I met Amanda. She sent me 3 of this collection inspired by Sailor Moon to swatch and review!

Today the new Sailor Moon Crystal comes out. I'm so excited and can't wait to watch it on Hulu! I have been a Sailor Moon fan since I was 4 years old and the original show aired on tv. I have watched every episode other than the final season and read the manga as well. I have Sailor Moon merchandise throughout the house that I've collected over the years. So of course when I heard about the new show I was ecstatic but when 2013 came and went I worried it was never to be. Well it's worth the wait and I've met a lot of fans recently hiding in plain sight! 

I was so excited I did this nail art! It was supposed to be for Artsy Fartsy Friday but I hadn't had the chance to get on to a PC till today.

I recently got the chance to work with Printcopia and let me tell you! The hardest thing about the whole experience was just picking something to have put on a canvas. Most people would make it easy but to me it was extremely hard to decide. I thought what about the cat and dog? Well I didn't want to make them jealous of one or the other and had no good pictures of them together. They are the closest thing I have to kids and the old man hates having his picture taken and so that puts those out.

I thought about doing a picture of Dani Filth but the Old Man nixed that idea quickly.

Starlight Studio review

Ok I admit I was born in the 80's but I don't remember those years because I was 2 when they ended so in truth I am a 90's child through and through. I was into Toonami like most 90's kid and jumped right in front of the tv after school to watch shows like Dragon ball Z, Sailor moon, and many more.

Sailor moon has been an obsession of mine for many many years. Basically I have been obsessed with Sailor Moon for as far back as my memories run. I had the keychains, the dolls, comics, wands, and musical lockets. They weren't all made the best but I loved them still I even made a few things of my own Including Sailor Moon Monkey

I am so glad that Sailor Moon has been brought back to life. I plan on buying all merchandise I can get on my hands now that I am older and have a job. When I was younger money for things like this wasn't around. That second sentence really makes me think that it makes me sound older than I am. I am 24 as of 1 month ago so no I'm not some 40 yr old saying that they were a starving college student when sm was out last. I was just a kid from a poor family (who asked for legos every year and never got them.)

I know you have already seen my latest crochet creation but I love how she turned out and had to put her in here.

Favorite super hero and why. My favorite super hero has been sailor moon since I was 4. I always loved the story of reincarnation and true love. She was always my hero.
