I've tried a few different chalk markers and each was a little different. These were much easier to prime than other brands I have had. All except the black that is, that one took forever to prime in the small markers. The large ones are amazing for filling in large open spaces. I spent the day with Destini drawing with these markers and comparing them with other markers I had. The colors of these markers are so opaque and gorgeous. With ones I had tried in the past the color was broken and not as solid as I would like it and some colors were horribly runny and not true to color. The only marker I had any problems with was the small black because it kept stopping and seemed to have dried and I had to re prime it again. I will say these are by far the best chalk markers I have ever used.

I wanted to show how huge these markers were!

I found  holding it really lets you see how big this is!

This tip is huge! Its really great for filling in background on drawings. 

I used the small ones on this and then used the large to fill in the sky and the moon.

This was done by Destini using the small markers. I love this!

I have been wanting a TuTu for some time each time I saw them on Cut it out and keep it it pulled at my heart strings. So while out shopping the other day I realized I had everything but the main color tulle so I decided to pick some up and get to work as Halloween is getting ever closer. At first I picked up some lovely purple and then after standing in the line for cutting I look over and see this really pretty blue so I decided to go with that. So I took my tulle with me that night and began to craft my project.

Easter is one of those Holiday that seems to bring mixed emotions if you are Christian you will feel sadness and joy for the Resurrection,  now if you are pagan (new age) and you celebrate Eostre, it's a merry time to celebrate Eastre and welcome Spring, yet MOST religions allow their kids to enjoy some harmless egg crafting and hunt. When my children were little Easter was a BIG thing, we would spent a week crafting and painting eggs, cooking, baking  and getting ready for the different "Pascua" stages. I should mention that my country is Catholic in their majority so the celebrations are quite different, but the egg craft and hunting  are alike and  so is the big marketing behind chocolate bunnies and eggs from huge companies like, M&M, Hershey's, Resse's, Cadbury, Lindtz and even Peeps are  known worldwide, even in small third world countries like mine. Lets just try to keep some traditions alive.

I have a thing for melted crayons. I have done many projects with melted crayons on canvas and since its easter thought I would do something a bit different. This is a craft that will require adult supervision.

Hot glue gun (high temp works best but you can get by with low temp)
