Comfort inn review

So when I was looking for a hotel I was a little weary. My first hotel experince wasnt that great, in fact it was a nightmare (read more here.) The Old Man said to look at comfort inn as he had never had a bad experience with them. So when I called the hotline from work to see about hotel discounts and the one we had been looking at was the first one they listed it was an easy choice. They were per friendly which was the biggest thing for us since we were bringing our dog. Looked nice from the inside and clean on the inside. Yes the carpet was dated as with some the other furnishing but everything was in good condition. Check in was quick and easy and we loaded up a luggage Cart and headed to our room. The room was clean and fresh smelling. We jumped on the bed to test it out and it was comfortable! Nice king size bed I realized how much space a king has compared to a queen and that I want one! The curtains were dark and the air conditioning nice and cool. The room even had its own mini fridge with freezer,microwave,and coffee maker. Had a nice big screen tv that I admit I watched before going to bed (say yes to the dress gets me every time.)

The free breakfast was amazing. They had this cool waffle maker that you press this button and it spits out the waffle batter and you poor it into the waffle iron close hit rotate and press the timer. When the timer goes off you just re-spin and use the tongs to remove the waffle. They had fresh eggs bagels and more. My favorite thing though was the apple and orange juice dispenser. All in all the hotel stay was amazing and check out was quick and uneventful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Vacation in Indy day 2.

So we woke up on the second day the day I called "tourist day" to do all the things I wanted to do. The thing I didn't count on? Nothing being open yet... Yeah I know should have known better but I was in such excitement I couldn't wait anymore! We had breakfast at the hotel and man what a good breakfast it was! Yogurt,bagels and cream cheese and make your own waffles! We ate till we were full and took some scrambled eggs and sausage to Fuzzy back in the room (he's very spoiled you see) and he promptly gobbled it all up!

He's odd he likes to get on selves and lay there at the hotel he just loved to hang out on them like this.

It was a spur of the moment idea, something to celebrate the Old Mans 35th birthday. I hadn't been in indy since 5th grade for a sight seeing experience but I had been there in the spring break of my senior year but I didn't get to stop and see anything. So after looking at the options of things to do in Nashville, St. Louis (which I have been to), Cincinnati, and Indianapolis. I looked and looked and found about 5 things I would like to do in each but I liked the attractions better in Indy. Museums are the type of places I like to go and I love architecture and the Old Man had spent some time in Indy and always talked about places he'd like to show me. So I figured why not go there!

Haven't posted lately.

Sorry all I have been on vacation and there is a rule in the house that we just don't talk about it online. We have seen too many horror stories where people posted on fb or else where they were out of town and gotten robbed so I thought it best not to say anything at all. Not to mention that I was busy sight seeing! I have tons of pictures coming and reviews of places we went. Today I have been just trying to get all the pictures on my pc and sorted and the bad ones deleted. So prepare for vacation items for the next few days. I am actually up really late for me and about to go to bed so I will see y'all later!
