I had been dying to try nail art stamping plates when Born Pretty Store contacted me. I chose the set with 12 plates that retails at $12.63.  I picked this set because I caught sight of hello kitty! 

When they first arrived I ripped a plate open and stamped around on some polish I already had on.

Back to my gothy roots! On the left hand I used nail stickers from OMGnailstrips (review coming up!) and on the thumb I used "a blank canvas" from Wet n' Wild. Then I stamped it with my new nail plates with the skull pattern. 

Orly Halloween collection 2013

My favorite holiday is Halloween and Orly is bringing back their time honored collection with a new addition. 

From the bottle shots it looks like only 2 colors but is in fact 4 different shades. 

I already own liquid vinyl (one of my favorite blacks) and at first glance I fell in love with Goth (fits me perfect) and plan on purchasing it but the oranges didn't impress me much (damn now that song is playing in my head) until I saw swatches. Now I find myself lusting for Melt your Popsicle.

I love glitter but if there is something I love more than regular glitter is glitter in the shape of stars. I have been obsessed with stars and moons since childhood it might be something to do with my hero as a child.

Ok its that time again!!! I changed my nails! This time I actually did them all the same color!!! Bum bum baaaaa I know its crazy! I almost never do all the same color.

Essence released this awesome affordable line of cosmetics for the Twilight movie saga. It's limited edition so if you find something you like be sure to snatch it up!

I really want 02 alice had a vision but my local Ulta store is completely sold out of it. When I went to purchase from the collection the only thing they had remaining was a broken gold lipstick and 3 jars of Jacobs protection pigment.

I have been seeing all this awesome nail art and had been inspired to try my own hand. I was just playing around with something I seen online and ended up with a nail that makes me think of Wolverine.

In light of the popular trend,the skittle manicure, I decided to do one myself on my right hand. I left hand is filled with various polish I'm testing and new techniques. When it comes to my wardrobe there is only a few colors I stick to (black, blue, purple) and I like to be adventurous with my nails to spice it up. In my younger years I wore nothing but black or red like a traditional goth but now I have evolved into more of what could be considered bubblegum goth. So for me this trend Is perfect because it isn't often that all my nails are even close to the same color and I can play with neons while I'm at it.
