I've been trying to keep an eye on my weight this pregnancy well mostly without a scale I did a lousy job and gained over 35 pounds in 25 weeks. So when I was given the opportunity to review Surpha's it fit like a glove to my needs. Surpahs makes and sells high quality kitchen scales, bathroom scales and kitchenware products with affordable prices. The company works with the same manufacturers than some big brand name companies but allows the customer to purchase quality items for a small fraction of the price.
Surpahs sent me 2 scales to review: The Outlook Precision Digital Bathroom Scale and the Ultra-Thin Tempered Glass Digital Kitchen Scale both scales have a sleek and stylish design. The black bathroom scale has some great features: for example the large LCD back-light display that makes it so easy to read your weight, it's skid-proof, it has 4 high precision G sensors for maximum accuracy, uses 4 triple A batteries, the silver handle makes it easier to move the scale around and finally my favorite feature the Step On Technology which allows you to get weight results without having to tap to turn it on and off.
In the last 4 weeks I've been able to keep track of my weight and only gained 5 pounds, lately I've been obsessed checking my weight every morning and my bump makes really hard to bend over and I swear even tap the scale hurts, so the Step On Technology is such a must for me I love to step up check my weight and step down without having to worry about turning it on and off and it's really accurate. Two weeks ago my doctor checked my weight in his office with those big scales they have and as soon as I got home I re-checked it my Surpahs and voila exactly the same. (The Precision Digital Bathroom Scale can weight max of 180kg/400lb)
The bathroom scale was a great addition to my house but the little secret to keep my weight in check during this pregnancy (even after all the weight I've gained) is the Surpahs lovely kitchen scale, This small but precise scale is wonderful to weigh and manage portions. Let me clarify I'm not on a diet but I'm keeping an eye on my intake of food, while I"m not eating less or more.
While my pregnancy now doesn't allow me to diet. I'll start a really strict diet after my baby is here, but it's not only there where this little scale helps I love to bake cakes. pies, cookies and the Surpahs kitchen scale helps to measure and be really accurate when baking and adding some ingredients. I have some recipes where it ask for 100g of butter or 150g of sugar and before I had no clue how to measure grams, (that's another feature worth mentioning)the bathroom scale works on kg and lb and the kitchen scale works with fluid oz, oz/lb and g/kg)
You can find more products at Surpahs website or connect with the company media outlets for news, deals and great offers:
