Back to nature with Botanical Effect form Mary Kay. Review

In the last 2 years I haven't actually bought any Mary Kay products and I'm not sure why, it's probably because I'm always trying to find options  with more natural and organic products and I had no clue they had such a line Not long ago I was blessed with the opportunity to review the Mary Kay  Botanical Effects for dry and sensitive skin. I was pleasantly surprised with these products. My skin is dry and sensitive but prone to acne and most products  cause me contact dermatitis, so I'm always careful with anything that will go on to my face.

The Mary Kay Botanical Effects Collection consists of:  Cleanse, Freshen, Hydrate and Mask. The Cleanse it's actually a creamy facial cleanser, with a no-foam formula this gentle cleanser gets rid of most makeup and will clean you skin without stripping the natural oils, there is no tight skin or dry feeling after using the cleanser in fact your skin feels moisturized. The Freshen a non alcohol toner packed with moisturizing properties helps to softly exfoliate and remove any excess from your skin. The Hydrate a really light moisturizer designed for sensitive skins absorbs easily without leaving any greasy or sticky feeling. Finally the Mask or facial mask with a rich cream formula this product can be used as  facial scrub or as a mask, it will gently exfoliate your skin or can be applied and leave on for 10 mins and remove with warm water.

  4. Mary Kay is still going strong after all these years. I received a Mary Kay Glam vox Box from Influenster last month and I love how they are modernizing their products and not just your mother's makeup!

  13. That's interesting that it's made with Milk Thistle. My husband takes a capsule of MT every day, but that's the only other time I've heard of it.

  21. I wasn't allowed to wear makeup until I turned 13, at which time my mother took me to a Mary Kay consultant (a friend of hers) who showed me proper skin care, the proper way to apply makeup to look natural, etc. Loved that birthday! :) I still love Mary Kay products all of these years later!
