This month is another great month for me. I think I am starting to set up a personal record. There used to only be 1 every 4 or so months that I was completely happy with the choices for my bag but the last few months I have been super happy with. I need to stop myself and not ruin a good thing by taking the test again. I think I will save that for when I start getting things I hate again. This monthly subscription is only $10 a month and the products they include are totally worth it!

This months bag was pretty cute. I like the color combo of the coral with the turquoise. I ended up not adding it to my collection though and passed it off to a friend who said it was cute. I love that 4 out of 5 products can be considered full size products. The only one I am  not sure if its really full size or note is the Vera Mona eyeshadow. I will have to try the argan oil stuff next time I straighten my hair to see if it helps prevent any kind of wave. Overall a really great month for me with Ipsy.

When I heard of the new colors for this collection I knew I had to have them. I found Havanah while on vacation and I am glad I picked it up then because when I visited my local Ulta it was sold out. I love the way it feels on the lips, its matte but I don't feel like my lips are going to crack or need moisture. I can't really tell its even there. Application wise was where the issue was. It was patchy and not as opaque as I hoped. It took a few layers to get it to look the way it does in the photo but you can still see my lip color peaking through. The applicator makes it hard to get a good line on the outside so yes you will most likely need to use some concealer to clean up those lines unlike what I did for this quick photo. While I am sad about it being patchy its pretty great on its own and feels amazing and dries quickly so I would recommend it but I would also recommend some kind of liner under it.

Since discovering that we had an Ulta store now in my town I had been wanting to take a trip to the new Mecca of makeup. I was hoping that they would offer more affordable brands then that of Sephora our other Cosmetics store in town. So finally after wanting to go for weeks I had free time to go and was on that side of town. When I pulled up I took this picture. I know you might think thats lame but to me I was on a new and exciting journey.

When I walked in the building I loved the atmosphere, I was hit with a calming wave of warmth but coolness at the same time which was a wonderful reprieve from the cold outside. Everything is white including the shelves so I guess you could imagine me with the look of wonder and awe that those people get that wonder into the progressive commercials before they meet Flo (or at least in the old ones). Its like walking into beauty heaven, I just wanted to look at anything and everything (which I did isle by isle.)
