I had never tried Mentality polishes before, so when I saw their Hot Summer Deal on the set of them I had to order. For todays mani I used two of them.

Wet n Wild week: Whale of a Tail Guest post Lead lighting and stamping oh my!

Hello Everyone! This is Jenn from Whale of a Tail Lacquer Blog, and I'm really excited to be doing my first guest blogger post here at Life of a Mad Typer. When Ruby was first asking for volunteers and said that it was supposed to be Wet n' Wild Week here, I just thought to myself "Oh no! What could I possibly do? I only have around 4 Wet n' Wild polishes in my entire stash!"

Luckily for me, I have a White and a Black Wet n' Wild Polish, which is allowing me to do something kind of special for you guys. The newest craze in the polish/stamping world is the Lead Lighting technique which is a really cool technique using white polish stamped over black or vice versa and then using sheer glaze polishes to fill in the white areas with color.

Spoiled! by Wet n' Wild - Correction Tape & Wet n' Wild Wild Shine - Black Creme

These are my two Wet n' Wild polishes I'm using for this manicure. Spoiled! - Correction Tape is a really brilliant true white. Mine is very thick and it's an opaque white, almost a one coater, which made it perfect for me to use as a stamping polish over my Wild Shine - Black Creme.
