Mint Charming and Mermaid Dust

Disclaimer: I purchased the products mentioned in this post. This post may contain affiliate links, if clicked I may receive compensation.

Here I have a pretty simple mani , but somehow its one of my favorites recently. Maybe because it mermaid scales and well I've always loved mermaids.

First I started with two perfect coats of Mint Charming from Fairytale Finish,  then I stamped using Gals Stamping plate GA14. I topped it all off with Mermaid Dust from Fairytale Finish as well. Theres also a coat of Seche Vite in between the stamping and Mermaid Dust, and of course one more coat of Seche Vite on top of everything.

XOXO by Rainbow Honey #swatch and #review

This product was provided as a press sample. All thoughts are my own.

This is the 2nd color from the sweet talk collection that I received. A little about this color:

XOXO is a ravishing blend of glitters and flakes in a clear base for easy use over any manicure!

I love glitter as I have said forever! This color is no exception to that love! The bottle shots don't do this color justice! So to see the macro's and get a discount code keep reading!

This is the 5th polish I am reviewing from Polish TBH.
See the other reviews:

Of course I fell in love with this polish when I first saw it! Its purple, holo, and glitter!!!! What I found after applying it amazed me as I was not expecting it.

Polar Express by Polish TBH #swatch and #review

I received the following Nail polish in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 4th polish I am reviewing from Polish TBH.
See the other reviews:

Polar express is a night Midnight blue polish with gold and navy micro glitters.

I used 2 coats both with and without topcoat. This polish dries matte and the glitters tend to rise to the top so its slightly textured.

80's Party at Tiffany's by Polish TBH #swatch and #review

I received the following Nail polish in exchange for an honest review.

This is the 3rd polish I am reviewing from Polish TBH.
See the other reviews:

This glitter packed polish is full of matte glitters in neon stars, hexes in various sizes, squares. Because this polish has such a diverse mix of colors it will look different each and every time you wear it.
The base with this one is thick so dab application method is the best.

I swatched 80's party at tiffany's over 2 coats SinfulColors Easy going and 2 coats of Sally hansen Innocent Nude on pointer finger.

From top to bottom I used:
2 swipes
1 dab
1 dab
1 swipe

As you can see with the dab method I got more glitter and a more diverse coverage and glitter shapes.

Keep reading for some Macros!

Pumpkin Pasties by Polish TBH #swatch and #review

Part of the DIAGON ALLEY COLLECTION POLISHES
I received the following Nail polish in exchange for an honest review.
Here is some information about this polish:
Pumpkin Pasties A very special polish in the fall collection. This one made by my middle child Nicky. He choose hot orange hexes, a mix of pink in 2 shades, black & white bars as well as multiple sizes of hex and a orange and gold metallic glitter blend. Pumpkin Pasties are a treat that is enjoyed in the Harry Potter series.

This is my second review from Polish TBH. The first Dark & Difficult Times can be found here
When I first saw this polish I thought of 2 things before I even saw the name.
1. Pumpkins
2. fall
So Nicky definitely picked the right colors for this polish. Makes me want to go pop the DVD'S in right now! First lets do this review!

Dark & Difficult Times by Polish TBH #swatch and #review

Part of the DIAGON ALLEY COLLECTION POLISHES

I received the following Nail polish in exchange for an honest review.

I was sent a few colors to review from Polish TBH. I loved opening the package with no clue what 5 colors I was going to get to review. I Immediately connected this polishes name to Harry Potter and I was right! I loved the books growing up and the movies as well. So I was very excited to get this.

Here is some information about this polish:

Dark & Difficult Times This is a darkened blue gray with a mix of holo black and charcoal glitters as well as red and green color shifting flakies. Reminiscent of the gloomy skies seen through out the Harry Potter series. The name comes from a favorite quote from Albums Dumbledore "Dark and difficult times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy."

Electric Avenue by Squishy Face Polish

I received the following product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Electric Avenue is a mixture of various sized hex glitter in purple, blue, green, yellow, and pink with holographic micro glitter in a clear base.

This is perfect for summer and I really loved pairing it with white nail polish.

The glitter tends to sink to the bottom but thats nothing some upside down rolls won't fix. The application is smooth and I used 2 coats on most occasions and the dry time was awesome.

This was part of the summer neons and is no longer available for sale but this is just an example of the amazing work of Squishy Face Polish and I hope this is a color that is brought back as I will need another bottle of it soon.

Alchemist from Color Me Monthly October 2013

I received the following product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Halloween is my favorite time a year and black polish is an old friend so when I opened the box needless to say I was excited. Inside was this beautiful black polish with one of my addictions (later I'd find out there was 2 loves of mine in this polish.) GLITTER!!!! My friends looked at my latest and realized how obsessed I really am with glitter.

Mixed metals has been a big fashion trend and this has that! Makes me think of stars when I look at it. The name is perfect for the Halloween Season,

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.
