Smiling friends Season 1 review

 Today I have another TV review. Thank you to our friends over at Warner Brothers for providing this for review.

This one is about a show called Smiling Friends, season one which is now on DVD and Blu-ray.

I came in the show not knowing what to expect because I had never heard of the show. And one of my friends saw a photo I posted and told me they love the show. I watched all but the last two episodes over the period of about a week.

The show was beyond what I expected. The change of animation, styles, and imaging is so sudden sometimes that it’s jarring. I remember when I first saw the live-action in an episode compared with the animation it really shows the stark difference from the standard people in most animation. The show was definitely much more violent than I expected it to be but with it being adult swim it’s not unheard of. My friend said it was kind of like a crazy adult version of Happy Tree Friends but i couldn’t see the comparison when watching. 

It reminds me of some other animations that I have seen around but the style is not something I enjoy personally. I myself will not be watching season 2.
