I love this popcorn maker! I keep it at work because I share it with my team. Whenever someone wants a snack I have this over at my desk and they can take it in the hall and make their own popcorn. It’s great to have on hand to prevent us from spending tons of money at the vending machines.
I hadn’t been able to enjoy popcorn for a while when I got my hands on this. I decided maybe it was the butter that the movies used that caused me to not be able to eat it. So I set it up with a large bowl and made some unbuttered popcorn. What do you know! I can enjoy popcorn again without any worries!!! It appears that I can eat it just not the butter. So now I can make some nice hot fresh popcorn and maybe add a dash of salt or whatever other toppings I want.
I will say you need something tall to use with this because the closer it gets to the bottom of the batch it kind of flies everywhere if you just use a regular bowl. It’s a little louder than I expected when I first plugged it in we quickly learned it was too loud to use at the desk.
