Isn't it just the best surprise when you buy a mystery grab bag and end up with something from your wishlist? This little gem came in one I received a little while ago and I was so stoked! Lucky 13 Lacquer Life Is Short and You Are Hot has been on my wishlist for ages and I honestly don't know why I didn't get it sooner.

I'm such a sucker for anything Doctor Who related or squishy and this covers both bases. With 3 coats this pretty looks like liquid rubies on your nails and since that's my birthstone I figured what better time to try it. This is one of those polishes, like neons and such, that explodes in low light.

I actually got a Lucky 13 as well that I had been tempted to get but hadn't in a mystery bag recently as well. It was one of the sailor moon collection. I am really loving the Macros on this post.
