Let me start telling you all: I'm a infomercial addict, ussually my insomnia will kick 3 or 4 times week and I'm quite used to the night owl life, that's how I came across the Ninja Blender, yeah there are hundreds other blenders. mini blenders, bullets and so on, but for some reason the Ninja and the Shark infomercial are my favorites. I'll share with you a secret while I love to watch their commercials I haven't actually bought anything but I have a big list of infomercial things I want and wish, sadly I'm to lazy to call or order online. Two of my biggest infomercial products obsessions are the Ninja Ultima Blender and the Topsy Turvy Tomatoes, the tomatoes are still in my list it might be the next thing or the first I actually order, yet they might have to wait since a couple of months ago my informercial dream came true I was given the opportunity to review the Ninja Ultima Blender, yeah you can imagine how happy I was(and I'm) after seeing that email. I was dancing and singing all over the house.
My parents were the proud owners of a Vitamix, it's a great blender but too expensive for my family. My kitchen was full of Hamilton Beach items, which are super affordable, disposable and can be purchased in any Walmart, the blender was ok but every 30 rounds of smoothies we had to buy a new one. My daughter loves smoothies and juicing and so does my son, so a good blender was something my family would actually use daily. A couple of weeks after that wonderful email my mail-lady left a ginormous package at my door, lucky me hubby was home and dragged it inside. I'm curious by nature so the the outside package didn't last more than 3 mins, the next box was the blender itself, the package was really big, since I'm not the only curious soul at home: everyone(even my cat), was around to check our new blender. Inside the box we found the big motor base, the pitch, 3 single serving cups, 3 single serving sealable lids, one nutri ninja blade, the sealable and lockable pitcher lid, and one removable quad blade.
Since I'm reader, I did the right thing and started to read the manual, however my family had a different idea, while my daughter washed some pieces my husband put all together and my son and cat were gathering fruit and supplies (milk, yogurt, fruits, spinach, ice, etc), it seems they had no need to read the instructions, since 10 minutes later the blender was assembled and working and 30 mins later we had a variety of smoothies, milk shakes and juices. Sadly they didn't give me the chance to take pictures or make a video. After the first test at home everyone seemed suddenly interested in some healthy drinks, the coke in the fridge was completely forgot.
A couples of weeks later I decided to make a Bolivian Food Typical plate called Humintas, previously I gave it a try in my old Hamilton Beach but the corn kernels; were my old blenders weak point, the blender would only grind/blend the grains close to the blades and leave intact the ones on top, I had to to blend the corn in small batches and used to take 45 to 1 hour (in a good day) just to have the corn ready. The Ninja quad blades made it all in 5 mins, there was no need to use small portions, I just tossed 3 cans of corn kernels and the blender did the job in a couple of mins, now I can cook Humintas as often as I wish and takes me 15 mins to have it ready for the oven.

6 Oreo cookies.
Ingredients

6 Oreo cookies.
First blend 1 oreo cookie until it resembles fine sand with some big chunks, reserve.
