I was excited to learn I was getting to try some of CND summer collection. I hadn't gotten to try CND products previously because it isn't sold in my area (or at least in any of the places I frequent.)  In the press release Sultry sunset and tango passion look like cremes but in person they look like a metallic/ foil polish.

If you are a mom you know kids grow up in the blink of an eye, one day they are adorable little babies, the next terrible toddlers, the next time you blink your cute little baby will be leaving you for her/his first day of school and if you blink to fast they might be graduating before you open your eyes again, yes it happens I can close my eyes and see my daughter (who is almost 18) sitting all by herself for the first time in the mat or my son (15 years old) crawling all over the house. Time goes by so fast, I can still remember the growing up wall. We didn't have a place to keep track of my babies growth so we used the wall and crayons, pens, markers or anything that was available, it was our memory wall, we used to laugh and write small messages.

Gabrialla Maternity Support Belt ITA-MED. Medbarn Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

I guess getting pregnant after 15 years was not the brightest idea it seems the time made my previous 2 pregnancies to good to be true and I can't remember the bad times. I'm pretty sure I had them but maybe they were so bad my brain blocked them. Yet I don't think they were half as bad as this one, I was 18 years old with my second pregnancy was fit and my life style was healthier. 15 years later I was over-weight and I have an obsession with junk food, yet my third pregnancy started on the wrong foot. The first sign was the Hyperemsis Gravidarum diagnose as soon as 10 weeks in my pregnancy, at 22 weeks came the pre-eclampsia thanks to my high blood pressure and at 30 weeks diabetes,  not fun. The thing is I can actually deal with all of this, I just need to keep track of my food, less or no salt, drink more water  but I cannot fix by myself the aches, pain and discomfort.

Yochi- Yochi The squeaky fun footwear. Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

I'm a sucker for manga, Japanese food, makeup, candies, etc basically I love how they can produce so many cute stuffs. The kawaii culture is really big in Asia and more people in the US are drawn to the cuteness overload, so when I had the chance to review the Yochi Yochi shoes I was super excited. The company is proud to introduce one of the latest trends in Japan the squeaky shoes and while the noise is fun to some point the sound also works as security feature, you will always know where your child is or when he is on the move, plus it seems the squeak can reinforce the natural rhythm and help your kid to train their walking.

I received the Capitan Zuga shoes to review, the shoes have a super cute Skull with crossbones as ears, the detail repeats itself in the back of the shoes. The shoe are ultra light and feature a small removable diaphragm in each heel (placed at the side of the soles). The shoe itself is made with high quality nylon the fabric inside is solid and soft to keep your baby feet comfortable and the outside fabric is texturized like mesh to allow the air flow, the shoes can be closed and secured by a velcro band, which makes putting them on and taking off really easy. The shoes soles are made with a durable  rubber sole. The company is also proud to apply some environmentally friendly practices in the manufacturing of the shoes like: the use of water based dyes, energy efficient equipment allow the company to use 25% less energy than others and the storage of rain water for daily factory use.

Yochi- Yochi The squeaky fun footwear. Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

We tested the shoes with the son of a friend and while he is only 9 months old, he runs all over the house in his adorable walker . The shoes size is a 5 and the baby only wears size 3 so the shoes were a bit big, we solved the problem  with a bunch of cotton balls inside, since it was only a test yet her baby went crazy as soon as he figured out the squeak was coming form the shoes, he was running back and forth with his little walker just to make the shoes squeak. Once he was ready for nursing time and a nap we took the shoes off and the baby started crying until we put the shoes back on his chubby feet, we had to wait for him to fall asleep to take the shoes off without tears.

The baby who tested the shoes had so much fun with them that his mommy ordered a pair of Yochis in his size and she was not the only one another 3 friends who were at her house (we had a small friends meeting) fell in love with the shoes for their little ones. Last week I stumbled upon one of them and her 24 months toddler at Target and her daughter was wearing some adorable ladybug Yochi Yochi shoes, everyone at the store was smiling and asking about her shoes and the safety bonus works well, we kept chatting for quite a while and we could hear her daughter around, squeaking her way through the children apparel section. My friend was happy she could easily keep track of her daughter's whereabouts.

Kinsights Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

I'm  OCD about planning and organization, Three years ago we  had to relocate our family and move from one pole to almost the other, we came from South America to North America and it was a challenge between the clothes, papers and shoe.s I had to organize all our medical records, including immunizations,  allergies, medications, etc to bring them over. While my kids are not babies anymore keeping track of their medical records will help not only them but in time their children as well.

Now after 15 years I'm pregnant again and I don't ever want to go through the same exodus, if we ever move again I want the papers and an online back-up of every single document we have. I was so happy when I finally found out about Kinsights. Kinsights is an online Pediatric Personal Health Record Keeper for parents. Gone are the days where you’re being held responsible for keeping track of slips of paper or lugging files and folders containing your children’s health information.  And in the event of an emergency, you can even have the health records sent to the ER or out-of-town doctor in a snap. Organize your child’s growth and developmental milestones, immunizations, medications, allergies, and more.  This tool is amazing and a godsend to parents. Kinsights is also a community where parents can safely seek and share answers to parenting questions.  You can ask anything and Kinsights will find the right community members who can provide guidance.  Kinsights even offers groups with similar interests to their own pages, including single parents, grandparents, those interested in car seat safety, baby & kids fashion, potty training groups, and many more  What's really cool about this community is that it makes finding the best answers easy-community members vote up answers so the best content rises to the top.

I'm a big fan of online shopping, well I've become. The bigger the bumps gets the harder is for me to go shopping and the internet is a great tool to find  anything you need in a incredibly vast price range. I was searching online for a lilac crib bedding set when I stumbled upon this website for Tadpoles, while the name was familiar I had seen before some blankets and fitted cribs on Zulilly, I had no idea how many different products the company produces and sells. They recently launched their new website where you can see most of the collections and their Catalog 2014. You must be wondering what Tadpoles is, well:

eKids Jack Skellington Portable Stereo Speaker System for MP3 Players, by iHome

My youngest baby at this movement AKA (also known as) my son, is going to be 15 years old on August, 5. He is such a good boy, he knows how hard it is for us to save for the baby and for his birthday right now. So he decided it was better for everyone if we pass altogether his birthday and focus on the baby's needs, just to listen to him speak like that, trying to look all mature and grown up made my heart melt, yet I could never pass or forget my baby's birthday. The amazing public relations manager for iHome - eKidz was so kind to let me review the Jack Skellington  Portable Stereo Speaker System for MP3 Players.

DIY hard nails Pink Galaxy
Pink Galaxy

I found one of my favorite at home gel polish ever! I love glitter and I am not talking teeny tiny micro glitter but the big hexes in various sizes that indies seem to use way more than mainstream. So I was shocked to see these beauties had that awesome glitter when I pulled the brush from the bottle. Something else I was amazed by was 2 of the 3 are thermals! It never crossed my mind that a gel polish could be a thermal.

Although the polish is a little thick its about the same with most gel polishes and you just have to take your time. I used my mini Sally Hansen light to cure these and found them easy to apply. I wore pink galaxy for about 4 days because I just didn't want to take it off! I stamped some swirls over it using Color Club worth the risque and a Moyou London plate.

Adge helped me with the swatches and the video of the color change and to help removal on her since she didn't have pure acetone we used the gel top coat as the base instead of the base. I had done this as well on my right hand and they popped off before I could get a photo.
DIY hard nails Pink hottie
Pink hottie

I loved pink galaxy so much I used a traditional base coat and man can I tell you it took me forever to get Pink galaxy to come off. I tried buffing it and holding a cotton ball on it and got no where. I hadn't planned ahead and had no foil on me. I decided to ask my cubby buddy at work if she had any foil and box did i get lucky that she did. I wrapped my finger in foil and waited for 20 mins. My co workers thought I was crazy and typing was a challenge but 20 mins later the polish was just falling off. I am not sure if with it being thermal and add in the glitter caused it to be a bit harder to remove than most gels I used but I didn't have this problem with Pink Hottie when I went to remove it.
DIY nails heartbreaker
Heartbreaker modeled by Adge.

This was Adges first time doing gel and I think it went well! She didn't know about all the steps required to do the process and I forgot the alcohol and we had to go to the store and get some and had to start over. OOPs!!!! Please forgive my ADHD where I pause while talking sometimes losing train of thought.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Boba 4G Baby Carrier. Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

So while baby wearing is the new thing around, I must admit I'm totally a newbie, until a couple of months ago I had not a clue what a Soft-Structured carrier was or  how some moms would name or nickname them crotch danglers or perfect ergo. The idea of a ring sling, a pouch or a wrap were like something that came out of a different world. I have a couple of friends who swear by baby wearing and totally convinced me I needed to do it since I'll be nursing my  baby and breastfeeding and baby wearing are like cookies and milk or BFF's. I didn't  know I was starting a journey where half of the time I would feel like Alice in wonderland, completely lost, it was weird for me a stroller mom to listen and learn so much info together.

House of Botori the stylish mommy diaper bag. Review (Blu me away or Pink of me Event)

Yes I'm 30 something, Ok somewhere close to 34 and I do love childish or teenager accessories, bags and clothes, the few grown up clothes I own were fixed to fit my size and old weight (used to be 100lb currently close to 195lb) While I love shopping it's really hard to find clothes or adult clothes in my size, So I am often in jeans, yoga pants or sweatpants and t-shirts since most come in fun colors, my purses tend to be backpacks or messenger bags. I really find them comfy to wear. I want to look more like and adult so I gues, I'll slowly start buying some more grown up clothes and accessories. Since I'm looking to not only modernize but to create a more sleek, chic and age appropriated look. When I was offered the opportunity to review the House of Botori  diaper bags. I jumped with my eyes closed. I've seen their beautiful diaper bags before, in fact I thought they were regular totes or big purses. They do not look like your cutie patootie mainstream diaper bag.

My nursery is almost ready we have a couple of details to add, some knickknacks: a humidifier and a baby monitor. We did a online search for a good baby monitor and there are so many to choose from and the prices can go from affordable to really expensive. We had to decide between a video monitor or just a sound one. after comparing prices and analyzing what we really need, we opted for  just sound monitor, first it came to price $100 for a expensive sound only or $300 or more for a pricey video monitor; of course there are options between. The second point was our house size and the distance from our bedroom to the nursery, we live in a small house and our bedroom and the nursery are  next to each other. Third I guess for a small baby who would barely move there is no need to watch every movement I find the video monitors a little bit distracting from their main purpose.
