Winstonia jelly stamper review and demo

Disclosure: I received one or more products for review purposes only. Despite the free item, my opinions remain 100% Honest and my own. This post may contain affiliate links, if clicked I may receive compensation. If a giveaway is being held: No purchase is necessary to enter. Void where prohibited by law. Odds of winning are based on number of entries received. The clear stamper phenomenon has taken the world by storm from the time the very first one entered into the wild. There has since been many versions and I was super excited to get to try the clear jelly stamper from Winstonia. This hugs the curves of my nails well and doesn't hurt to stamp with it. When my nails are super long I have trouble using some of the clear stampers as they tend to be super firm (or at least the original is.)

Monster High stamping Tutorial

You guys had been asking me to do a tutorial on stamping. So here it is!

First the basics. I painted my nails with drop the bass from funky fingers.
I figured orange would be a great color to go with since I was looking for a Halloween theme.

The black I used was Sinfulcolors Black on black. It works great for stamping and is affordable and plentiful. Nothing worse to have to wait for supplies in the mail and not being able to stamp.

The other colors I used is (pink) funky fingers all the rave
and a white funky fingers that I have no clue what the official names are.
The funky fingers are ones that I got on vacation in Nashville and went to my first Five below!

The stamper I used in the video is Winstonia Double ended stamper
I also have extra heads so I can prep 2-4 designs at a time.

The plates I used were Moyou London fairy tale (not a clue on the number)
and the Monster high plate is from Handy

Green Jelly Dot Sandwich

It had been too long since I last did a jelly sandwich, my favorite easy nail art technique. This look might have been more at home in spring instead of the summer of neons. I loved it regardless though!

A few more Blue Sparrow nail polishes from my last nail model package today. This time both are in the same color family, blue! April also included some little blue sparrow vinyls and copper metal sparrows. They paired so perfectly with the first polish and shop's namesake, Blue Sparrow.

Happy Saturday readers! Earlier this week I had to say goodbye to one of my favorite phone cases ever as it broke into multiple pieces. What better way to honor it than with some nail art!

Moyou London stampers. Are they marshmallow stampers?

This is a comparison of the heads that come in the stamper vs the extra they sell.

Do you have either of these? How did they work for you?

Wet n Wild week: Whale of a Tail Guest post Lead lighting and stamping oh my!

Hello Everyone! This is Jenn from Whale of a Tail Lacquer Blog, and I'm really excited to be doing my first guest blogger post here at Life of a Mad Typer. When Ruby was first asking for volunteers and said that it was supposed to be Wet n' Wild Week here, I just thought to myself "Oh no! What could I possibly do? I only have around 4 Wet n' Wild polishes in my entire stash!"

Luckily for me, I have a White and a Black Wet n' Wild Polish, which is allowing me to do something kind of special for you guys. The newest craze in the polish/stamping world is the Lead Lighting technique which is a really cool technique using white polish stamped over black or vice versa and then using sheer glaze polishes to fill in the white areas with color.

Spoiled! by Wet n' Wild - Correction Tape & Wet n' Wild Wild Shine - Black Creme

These are my two Wet n' Wild polishes I'm using for this manicure. Spoiled! - Correction Tape is a really brilliant true white. Mine is very thick and it's an opaque white, almost a one coater, which made it perfect for me to use as a stamping polish over my Wild Shine - Black Creme.
