I have been breaking out lately on the right side of my face so I was sort of scared to use this product. I guess you can say I was being a scaredy cat. I had never used a mud mask before so I didn't know what to expect, would it hurt? I sucked it up because my job is to try new things and let you know what I think about them.
So off I went to the bathroom and plastered my face with the mud mask. After a few times dispensing product I realized that I wasn't getting enough out at a time so I fixed that and had my face covered in about 6 minutes.
I of course had to start making funny faces for the camera! I was posting these on my personal Facebook and my friends got a kick out of it.
Then I posted these after it dried.
My fears were unfounded and it was pain free. I felt a slight tightening as it dried but no burning sensation like I thought I would for some odd reason.
This mud mask has mud from the dead sea which is revered all over the world for its properties for skin health. It also includes aloe vera and vitamin c. The removal seemed to be the worst part for me. I was run down and ready to pass out and I think it was more frustration than anything. I thought I might use some cotton squares to remove it but after about half a stack I still had more than half my face to go so I grabbed an old towel instead and used it to remove the rest of the mask. Once I did get it off my face I felt refreshed and relaxed and ready to sleep, and boy did I sleep well that night.
