Morning Sickness: Do the Preggie Pops actually work?

I'm the mother of two wonderful kids, yet I don't remember pregnancy being so harsh before, I was thinking  once our babies are born, us moms develop some sorta selective amnesia, and choose to forget how bad the aches and pains were, swollen ankles, water retention, that annoying need to go back to the bathroom  5 mins after you left it, stretch marks and over all these things the morning sickness, I do have foggy memories about my 2 last pregnancies morning sickness (my last one 14/15 years ago), yet I could swear it wasn't that bad or least I thought so. Everyone including my OBGYN  told me  it would totally go away or lessen, that was 2 months ago.

Morning Sickness: Do the Preggie Pops actually work?

I just started my second trimester and the nausea, the sickness and inability to keep any kind of food down still lingers, While my feeding habits are quite different and I eat small portions several times a day(which seems to help with nausea), the doctors found out I'm not making this up or exaggerating (as my husband thought once) but suffer from something called: Hyperemesis gravidarum, yeah the Latin name makes it even more scary, but basically means you cannot keep your food down, you have nausea 24/7,some electrolyte dysfunction and you have this eternal hangover feeling while you have to carry another life inside you.

Don't get me wrong, like every other mom  I love this little critter and want him healthy, yet I don't think it's too much to ask to be able to have a nice relaxing day! I might have to stop here and backtrack, with all the nausea and morning sickness my daily diet was: saltines and ginger ale, I've tried everything  they offer from actual prescriptions (zofran and diclegis), to homemade remedies like blackberries, sucking on ice, and some other crazy stuffs I really don't want to talk about (if it was on the net or you might have heard about it, means I've tried it).

Morning Sickness: Do the Preggie Pops actually work?

So while I was complaining, crying and whining with my awesome online friends a couple of them mentioned: preggo pops. I was curious but skeptical, fourteen years ago there was no pops for pregnant mothers and you had to stoically go through pregnancy. Hubby and I got ready to go shopping: Walmart, Toy's R Us, last Walgreens and CVS. Enough to say I  have a couple of bags to last 1 or 2 pregnancies, sadly no one  mentioned that: not all are effective, not all taste good and some make you feel more sick than the actual cause, but I was not ready to give up. I was sure my perfect preggo pop was out there I just had to  find out where; amazon and google are two amazing allies. One night I came across this website, the pictures were great and I had no clue how come I missed this brand in Toy's R Us, with that in mind I sent the owner a nice email asking him to let me test their product in exchange for a honest review and they where kind enough to provide me with a great selection of : pops, drops and chews.

The Thee Lollies preggie pops, are naturally flavored and delicious, oh gosh I could eat them all  day long, the chewy ones are my favorites,  The owners  claim the secret to their success is in the aromatherapy and essential oils blend, I have to agree with them, because the pops. chews and drops actually work.

The Preggie Pops Drops comes in 4 flavors: Sour Raspeberry, Green Apple, Sour Lemon and Sour tangerine, they are great to take with you.

The Preggie Pops Chews flavors are: Ginger (definitively my favorite), peppermint, raspberry and green apple.

The actual Preggie :Pops come in 7 yummy flavors:Spearmint, Lavender  (so good), Sour Apple, Ginger, Peppermint, Sour Tangerine, Sour Lemon and Sour Raspberry.

The brand is drug free and crafted with natural ingredients like: Brown Rice syrup, Dried Cane syrup, Corn syrup, Citric Acid, Sunflower lecithin, Organic CornStarch, Palm Oil, Vitamin B6, Beetroot juice, Cayene Pepper and natural colors and flavors.

Now the answer to my question: Do Preggie Pops actually work? A couple of brands work but they don't taste great, Three Lollies Llc Preggie Pops  do help to keep the nausea at bay and taste great, are easy to carry with you and provide fast relief to morning sickness.

The Preggie pops are kosher and gluten free however if you have any:  Dairy, Peanut, Almond, Walnut, Pecan, Nutmeg, Soy Protein and Wheat Products allergy be aware the products are manufactured in a  plant who processes all the products above. If you want a sugar free version the company also offer  some queasy sugar free option.

Morning Sickness: Do the Preggie Pops actually work?

While I now know some women have it harder than others, while pregnant eventually we all suffer from something (sooner or later) yet my nausea nightmare seems to have lessen and now can be tamed with some ginger ale, saltines and my new BFWP (best friends while pregnant) the Preggie Pops. I'm  grateful I can finally say goodbye to: zofran, diclegis and emetrol and have a more natural option to my Hyperemesis. While my option might not work for everyone, it does for me and I do hope it also works for others with the same condition. Just try the Preggie Pops you will spend some cash but you might find a natural solution to your problems. Natural and healthier for your baby.

  5. I lost 10 lbs when I was pregnant 31 years ago, but I don't remember morning sickness! I was eating Banana Splits like they were going out of style! LOL

Now my daughter, she was sick for her entire first trimester! She lost 6 lbs, she couldn't eat a whole lot, drinking milk was an absolute NO NO and the only thing the baby would let go down was a bit of Mexican food and pizza. Yep this baby is definitely my son in laws and daughters! LOL Daughter is Mexican foods, son in law is Pizza!
