Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series review

I received the following product in exchange for review. All thoughts are my own.

I recently got the chance to review this awesome product from Ozeri. The Old Man has been told over and over that his Blood Pressure is too high by doctors but usually when he is at the doctors something usually happens to get him upset. We just have that kind of luck. You know the kind where on the way to the doctor you get locked out of the car or get a flat. Same with me, I had someone try to rip me off from a eBay sell I had completed by claiming they hadn't received the item when it was clearly delivered by the tracking information so clearly I was pissed (who wouldn't be over $375 and wondering if it was going to be taken care of by eBay correctly.) so that was the 2nd visit in a row that I had high blood pressure so of course they wanted to put me on meds. The first time my blood pressure was high I had just lost my cousin in a car accident and I saw a chick behind me putting on mascara and lipstick while driving. I was fuming that people like that are allowed to drive. So you see the pattern here, we always get angry and get our blood pressure up right before its tested.

So I was excited to get to review this at home solution so we can keep track of it at home and check it and track it to provide that information to my doctor. The Old Man currently doesn't have a doctor right now so this is our way of keeping an eye on him to see if we need to get him to a doctor no matter the cost.

The CardioTech talks to you telling you where to position your arm. Once desired position is attained it begins the testing process. I love the fact it reads the results out loud and talks to you. Another great feature is this is wrist cuff and I have noticed it is no where near as painful as the ones that go around your upper arm.

More information about the product:

New intelligent voice-guided feature alerts you to the proper positioning of your wrist for accurate blood pressure measurements.
Automatically provides an audible hypertension assessment via a new talking function (as well as a display on the LCD screen).
Portable, accurate, and simple-to-use with clinically proven technology, stores 180 blood pressure readings (90 x 2 users) with date and time recordings.
Automatic Irregular heartbeat (Arrhythmia) detection and Hypertension Indicator.
Push-button access to average blood pressure readings based on all readings in memory, AM versus PM readings, or the 3 most recent readings.

I admit the first time I used it I had no clue and ended up getting frustrated because it seemed I was always too high or too low and it would just keep saying to keep your wrist level with your heart. So of course my blood pressure was elevated because I fought with it for 15 mins to work. I found being large chested it worked best for me to stand up to run the test. I waited an hour and came back to it and did it again and was back to normal levels.

I love that it comes with this hard case to protect it so you can even take it on the go with you.

This runs for about $43 and is fully worth the price for being able to keep an eye on your health at home. So if you know someone that has blood pressure issues and needs a good way to track it at home tell them to check our the Ozeri CardioTech Pro Series they will not be disappointed.
