I owned shark products before the genius. I enjoy the color choices on this model and how they work: gives the appearance of new-age class. This SHARK product is just as ingenious as the first generation shark vac. The genius allows you to remove and replace cleaning pads and/or switch to steam stream almost effortlessly and without touching whatever was/is cleaned up. I like the way the mop steams surfaces and also provides streamed steaming power directly to remove nasty stuck ‘yuckies’. The shark doesn’t take long at all to warm up and start sanitizing floors or whatever needs steam wiped. Good tool to use when needing to clean better than what is normally done, or you just want to clean someplace best u possibly can. This is your tool. Once I tried this tool and played with it, I just love it for sanitizing and thoroughly cleaning my different floor surfaces without even having to consult the instructions manual. If anyone has had SHARK products they know how they operate- common sense technology: easy operation with minimum effort needed. Feels like a good solid product to use cleaning for yourself.
