We're thrilled to announce our latest collection, titled Moste Potente Potions, is arriving to the shop on September 1st! Based on potions from the Harry Potter series of books, each potion is presented to the customer as an item from the fictional shop of Slug and Jiggers Apothecary as part of a new "Cosmetic Potions" line. In addition to the polishes below, we will also be offering a custom Butterbeer blended cuticle oil, using the fragrances of buttered rum, butterscotch and vanilla to make a scrumptious scent that you'll reach for time and again!
Descriptions of each polish are listed below; contacted swatchers and bloggers will be receiving their kits within the next two days or so for reviewing.
Half-Life is a silver linear holographic polish with a metallic finish. Unlike the others on this list, Half-Life is not a potion at all but a cursed ingredient, unicorn blood. Drinking this gives the user a cursed existence, so settle for putting this on your nails and being a magical unicorn instead. Opaque in two coats.
Love Potion No. 9 ¾ is a bubblegum pink holographic polish with iridescent flakes. Made with Amortentia in mind, this polish will make you fall under its spell with its smooth and sparkly finish. Opaque in three thin coats.
Don’t Mind the Steam is a magenta holographic polish with golden shimmer. Like Pepperup Potion, this bold polish will have you feeling fabulous in no time. Opaque in three thin coats.
See No Dreams is a soft purple holographic polish with purple-to-blue color shifting glitter. You can rest easy wearing this polish without worrying about You-Know-Who or his masked goons finding you, but there’s no need to take Dreamless Sleep. Opaque in three thin coats.
Get Lucky is a warm golden-orange holographic polish with warm gold glitter. Like Felix Felicis, you can do no wrong with this polish! Opaque in three thin coats.
Steal Your Face is a green holographic polish with green-to-red color shifting shimmer. Unlike Polyjuice Potion, you won’t have to drink this polish to get the full shifty effect! Opaque in three thin coats.
Furry Little Problem Solver is our newest addition to the Slug and Jiggers cosmetic potion line! Inspired by Wolfsbane Potion, this bright blue holographic polish has iridescent flakes that bottle the moon and tame the wild werewolf within. Opaque in three thin coats.
