Let these 29 vibrant shades, 6 glitter topcoats and 5 appliqués fromSinfulColors express your individuality this summer with an electrifying mani to remember:
I received 6 colors and 1 set of appliques
Otaku Anime: Bright yellow with extra sheen
Maroon Fine: High-shine metallic copper
Keira Blu: Dazzling indigo
Sky Tree: Sparkling teal
Pink Ansen: Jagged glitter in punchy pink
Fuji Fiji: Holographic silver glitter
These are just getting a quick mention just because I don't use nail stickers. I will say these are awesome looking and I would love to recreate this look. If you wear nail stickers this is perfect for this summer.
Otaku Anime
This color looks so amazing in the bottle it had me interested in it the moment I saw it and I am not normally a yellow person. I used 2 Coats and Seche Vite. After 2 coats nail line is still visible. I love the name and the sparkle that it has. My only wish for this color would be that it was more opaque.
Maroon Fine
This is 2 coats with a coat of Seche Vite. This is described as a copper but to me its more of a brick red. I love how shiny it is and when you look closer you can see that the shimmer that glows from it is made from many tiny flakes. When I first saw this in the bottle I just thought it was ugly but once it was on the nails it surprised me. It is quite gorgeous on the nail and I did not have any issues with staining. I wonder if this was named after a certain band that I love? Opaque in 2 coats.
Keira Blu
2 coats with Seche Vite. In the bottle this one was the one I gravitated to first. While I love the color its super sheer and after 2 coats visible nail line is still visible. I had some issues with staining on the skin and the shimmer did not want to be removed no matter how hard I scrubbed with acetone and a clean up brush.
Sky Tree
2 coats with Seche Vite. This one is like Maroon fine and has these amazing small flakies in the teal base. It gives a depth to the polish and makes it sparkle. I found myself wanting to stare at it often while I was wearing it. Opaque in 2 coats and one of the must haves in this collection.
Pink Ansen
1 coat over Mentality black opaque. In the bottle it looked to the naked eye to be a sister polish to green ocean. Once its on the nail you see its not flakies but a mixture of bars and Hex glitters. I wanted to do it over black to show them the best but had some issues with the black staining so this was the best shot I could get. The glitter likes to group together but you can use the dabbing method to get the glitter where you want it,
Fuji Fiji
This is one coat over Sky Tree no top coat. Required no fishing for glitter and it was not base heavy. I love the mixture of the large hexes and the tiny ones........and HELLO holo glitter! I love this color so much!
There are 3 polishes that I don't have swatched for you today that I purchased also from this collection and I wanted to share the macros with you.
PINATA BLAST GLITTERS
Baila Baila: Clear based peach & royal blue confetti flecks
Fierce Fiesta: Multi-hued red, pink & yellow confetti
Mamasita: Indigo splashed with ruby & white glitter
Fierce Fiesta makes me think of 4th of july.
The dry time is around average for all the polishes in this collection with the exception of pink ansen.
$1.99 each, nail polish and appliques, at Walgreens and other mass retailers for Summer 2015.
