While I loved this collection I only chose to pick up 2 from the collection. You Are So Outta Lime! and Push & Pur-Pull. While I was tempted by the other colors of this collection I felt I had colors already close enough to them I didn't need them. Although I admit I picked up Juice Bar Hopping a few times at my Sallys and then put it back. At $9.99 at my Sallys and being colors I felt I had things close to I couldn't bare to pick them up (although if they go on clearance I will.)
I used 3 coats of You Are So Outta Lime! without a white base. I feel that its opaque enough that it didn't need a white base although with the white I could probably get away with 2 coats but then its still 3 coats of polish so I don't see the point in that. I used Hot Tropics from Orly's Baked collection as an accent nail.
It is described as a lime green polish but when I look at it I think of a crisp shiny granny smith apple. I may be one of the only ones to think of that. I had no issues with application and dry time was amazing. I had it applied and dried in about 10 mins in which I was distracted by watching Supernatural. I topped it with Royal fruit scented top coat from Rainbow Honey before I stamped over it using black out from Sally Hansen Extreme line.
Artsy Fartsy Friday!
Do you have You Are So Outta Lime!?? What are your thoughts.
