Almost 3 weeks ago I was blessed with a beautiful baby girl and while she is not my first baby it feels like it . The last time I had a newborn in my arms (least one I gave birth to) was 15 years ago, my eldest daughter is 18 now and my son 15. While I remember my babies faces, weight, height, time of birth, eyes, hair color and the newborn basic care, there are so many things I dont remember. Like her siblings Catalina was born via C- Section and it took me a couple of hours to be completely functional to care for my princess.
While the stool color is a problem finding good diapers was never a big deal for us, my eldest were Pampers babies and so is my little one, of course we didn't have swaddlers back then, Pampers diapers fit great and are super absorbent The fact that Pampers website is available in Spanish and English gives the brand some extra points in my book. I live in Texas and there are so many Spanish Speakers (hispanohablantes) so it helps moms like me or moms who just do not speak English yet or are learning it and to feel more comfortable reading it in Spanish.I found this chart extremely helpful and it might help other mommies who also speak Spanish:
Now with all those dirty diapers, avoiding a diaper rash is hard but not impossible I love the new Pamper Baby Wipes Sensitive with a touch of aloe vera, the arenwipes gentle and soft perfect for your baby's sensitive skin
.

I think it sounds like you're doing just fine. I love Pampers diapers.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Being a first time mom is hard, but you sound like you're on top of it. Remember this. It's better to over react than under react with children.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful... congratulations! You are brave to be doing it all again and you'll start remembering it all. Have fun and enjoy your beautiful baby!!!
ReplyDeleteawww CONGRATS to you! She is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat was quite a break between children! It sounds like you're doing great, though. Having a baby is like riding a bike. You'll get the hang of it again soon.
ReplyDeleteBeing a mom is always an adventure! I freaked out all the time with my first kid, and only a little less with the second one.
ReplyDeleteI remember those days, you are being a great mom and it is a learning curve which changes with each kid:)
ReplyDeleteI was going to enter to win but your Rafflecopter says it hasn't started yet. I love Pampers, it is my preferred brand!
ReplyDeleteI remember that first poo poo was sticky and tarlike. No fun! There's a big learning curve to it all, that's for sure. Glad you found Pampers and that they're working so well.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness that little cutie is giving me baby fever! My hubs hates the tar poo. It totally doesn't bother me as much as the stinky stuff. Ha!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new addition to the family. Diapers make a big difference in baby care. It is important to find one that works for your family.
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love Pampers!! It's all we used with all our kids and we were very happy. Thank for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new addition. It sounds as though you are doing just fine.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your new baby! Wishing you all the best... time does fly and she will soon be ready for K-School.
ReplyDeleteI am on my third newborn right now and honestly she has not really given me any challenges. She is a sweet girl that only fusses when she is hungry. My first child gave us issues because he had reflux. Shooting formula out of his nose was a daily thing. As new parents, we were scared to death because we had no idea what it was. That has to be my biggest challenge with any of my three kids. I think we are doing pretty well :)
ReplyDeleteBiggest challenge - hmm, getting others not to give their unsolicited advice, lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I love Pampers!
