Pregnancy is for most moms one of the most beautiful periods of life and an unforgettable experience, I guess it depends on who you ask and how great was their pregnancy, I have some cloudy memories of my 2 first but I know they weren't as bad as this one, I do remember my sisters pregnancies, since they both thought I was their nurse/doula and I was the one who had to listen to every rant and complaint they had, their pregnancies were easy going until they hit their third trimester, it seems no only me and my sister dread this stage but almost every single pregnant women dread, hates and suffers through it. For the first 15 weeks I had no problem sleeping (I'm a tummy sleeper) I was comfy enough to sleep in the way I have always loved, I've always slept with more than 3 pillows around me, weird but comfortable.Later on I found myself looking for something first more comfortable and second compact to sleep, sleeping on my stomach was almost impossible.
Around my 18th week or so I found myself surfing through amazon.com and reading reviews on pregnancy pillows, everyone seemed to be in love with the Leachco full body pillow so I ordered it, sadly it was not the pillow for me, it was to big, to soft, the cover was to harsh, I couldn't find a good position to sleep and took me a while to get used to it, the biggest turn down for me was how the pillow will get hot only after a couple of minutes, truth is maybe the shape was no good for me. Five weeks ago, the people from
AchooAllergy.com were kind to send me a
Snoozer Dreamweaver- Synthetic Down Full Body Pillow. My first experience with body pillows was not successful and with the summer hot night, I wasn't in a hurry to test the Snoozer, I'm so happy I was wrong first Snoozer does not actually get hot, it stays fresh through the night, the Snoozer comes with a pillow cover of 200 threat count and 100% cotton, so soft against your skin. The body pillow offers support to my neck my bump and my knees (I hate side sleeping since the bones in my knees make it uncomfy).
You can sleep in several different positions with the Snoozer and since I've actually been able to sleep more than 2 hours in a row and I'm 37 weeks now, my favorite position is to use it a J and use my feather goose pillows for my head, this way I never feel to cold or to hot and I have support all over my body. I'm not sure why since my week 25 I had really nasty migraines but now whenever I feel like it I use only the Snoozer in my head this pillow offers the perfect support not to hard and not to soft just right and it works like a charm with head, neck and back ache. I found out since I started using the Snoozer I have more energy when I woke up it seems my sleep is more deep and sound, also since I started using this body pillow I move less and dont need to re-position every 20 mins or so like before, my husband hated the Leachco since the pillow was really big and took more than half the bed by itself, the Snoozer is a full size pillow but it's so compact that it doesn't bother my husband or take more room that it should at night.
Overall the Snoozer is a wonderful full body pillow for pregnant women even when it's not specifically designed for a specific group. The Snoozer can be used for everyone pregnant or not. The Snoozer comes in 3 different sizes Full, Upper and Junior and with different fillers as well. The pillow has 2 extra and really important features (at least to me) the first: The Snoozer is washable which extends the pillow life, functionality and makes the price a steal, since a washable pillow that's cared for can last from 3 to 5 years. The second feature is an extra for those who suffer from allergies or like me asthma the pillow is 100% hypoallergenic after all that's AchooAllergy.com main purpose they offer one of the widest selection of products for allergy relief. The company not only offers body pillow but: Air purifier, humidifiers, vacuum cleaners, dust mite mattress and pillow covers, allergy bedding and armor, steam cleaners, dehumidifiers, etc.
