Burlington is one of the leaders on off-price apparel and home retailers. With over 523 stores in 44 states and Puerto Rico, you’ll find a large assortment of current, high-quality, designer and name-brand merchandise at up to 65% off department store prices. Burlington allows to choose from a large selection of coats, clothing, and shoes for the entire family, but it's no limited to apparel; they offer a great assortment of linens and home decor. Burlington has their own baby section the Baby Depot where you can find everything you need for a baby, from bottles to cribs with great prices everyday.
When the company gave me the opportunity to review some of their products I was not sure if my baby was a boy or a girl and they were nice to send me a beautiful baby package to review for both boy and girl, each package comes with a pack of Gerber onesies, baby shoes and a lovely security blanket.
I truly love Gerber: from baby food to clothing and bottles they are always my brand to go to, I've used them with my 2 eldest. Inside the gift set I found a pack of 5 Gerber's white shorty sleeve onesies for a baby between 3-6 months. When it comes to onesies you never have enough ,most of the clothes your baby wears until 9 months will always look like new except for the onesies. It doesn't actually matter if it's a diaper leak, regurgitated milk or half plate mashed sweet potatoes they always end up in the onesies even if your baby is wearing a bib half of it will end up in the chest and neck. So even if you think 20 are way to many, unless you are willing to do laundry every 12 hours they aren't. The more you have the better.
The second item was a cute pair of shoes, the shoes are different for boys and girls, for girls I was sent some stepping Stones size 2 (3-6mo) sequin pink mary janes with an adorable oversized pink and white dots flower as decoration and secured in place by an adorable pink elastic band. The shoes are so cute and the perfect match for some super cute dress. For a baby boy the shoes are a cute pair of blue and black sandals in a leather simile material, they came in size 3 (6-9mo) and are perfect for summer or in Texas we wear flipflops and sandals all year round unless there is snow around. The sandals can be secured by using the velcro bands. Both pairs of shoes are so light my children will feel like bare walking.
The last item inside the gift sets was a Snuggle Buddy a super cute security blanket that features a sock monkey. I'm a sucker for sock monkeys I've been trying to collect a few for my baby to cuddle with, so to be completely honest the first thing that drew my attention from the Baby Depot gift package was the blanket, and while the monkey is really cute the blanket is made with white velvety fabric and a red trim in the same fabric. The inside or back of the blanket is lined with satin and it makes this little blankets a mix of textures and shapes while keeping it as soft as the baby skin.
