While I'm a couple of weeks away to see my little baby's face. I know we are both going to need a couple of essential care products, I have a small travel bag with my products ready, but wanted something organic and special for me and my baby to deepen our bond, while a newborn can recognize mom's scent and voice, a nice massage is always great way to calm your little one, remember everything is new for them and the transition from your womb to scary world. While looking for some travel size items to take to the hospital for my baby, I came across
Mambino Organics, the company stands for a line of holistic products, made from organic fruits and herbs, free of chemicals and yucky stuffs. Maki Madaous the co-founder has an impressive curriculum in the beauty scene and is always looking for renewable, organic, sustainable and high quality ingredients all over the world.
Mambino Organic sent me a:
"Mommy and Baby" bonding kit to review, Inside the cute and recyclable box, you will find:
Calendula nursing balm (18 g / .63 oz)
Mild baby wash & shampoo (50 ml / 1.70 fl oz)
Tippy toes calming baby oil (60 ml / 2 fl oz)
Happy baby soothing stick (18 g / .63 oz)
Organic cotton/hemp wipe (8" x 8")
Mommy & baby calming aromatherapy (4 ml / .13 fl oz)
I really love how they think about everything. The shampoo is more a foam than a shampoo and it smells delicious like herbs, it was made with jojoba and olive oil, the baby oil is perfect to deal with dry skin and cradle cap made of pure organic jojoba, primrose oils and is fragrance free. Happy baby soothing stick is so moisturizing made with calendula, evening primrose and chamomille is designed to moisturize and sooth your baby's bun, works with diaper rash but it's also great for dermatitis and eczema. The Calendula nursing balms is something i've been using daily to prepare my body for breastfeeding and I'm almost ready to order my second stick, there is no need to wash off to feed your baby and the healing properties of the calendula, shea butter and sea buckthorn will soothe and comfort. The set comes with a hemp/cotton wipe that can be used as burp rag, washcloth, bib or to clean messes and of course the Chamomile and lavender calming oil is fantastic the mixture is quite relaxing I had some sleeping problems the last week and a couple of drops in my pillow has helped me to relax and sleep soundly.
Overall the quality of their products is fantastic and I love the fact such a small box is packed with so many useful things, everything can be used from day one and is designed to actually allow more bonding time between you and your little one
