If you are a mom you know kids grow up in the blink of an eye, one day they are adorable little babies, the next terrible toddlers, the next time you blink your cute little baby will be leaving you for her/his first day of school and if you blink to fast they might be graduating before you open your eyes again, yes it happens I can close my eyes and see my daughter (who is almost 18) sitting all by herself for the first time in the mat or my son (15 years old) crawling all over the house. Time goes by so fast, I can still remember the growing up wall. We didn't have a place to keep track of my babies growth so we used the wall and crayons, pens, markers or anything that was available, it was our memory wall, we used to laugh and write small messages.
That wall is long gone since someone forgot to tell the painter to not touch it. I cried for a couple of days, the thing was, that my kids weren't worried and my husband thought it was sad but for me it was a major catastrophe a 5 in the Fujita, 10 in the Richter Scales. Now with a new baby on the way I want to be sure my marks, messages, drawings and memories will stay around. I found the most adorable way to keep all the mentioned safe, the Growth Charts from Canvas Press.
Canvas Press is a company who believes that fine art quality prints should be available for everyone, and just because you are an aficionado or a hobbist it doesn't mean your prints will be low quality. The company is based in Round Rock, Tx (close neighbors) since 2006. They believe in team work, excellence, respect, and value the craftsmanship, great customer service and it's made in USA.
The hard part of picking a
Growth Chart was to choose one from the 50 + options in their website. Since we will welcome a little princess I went for an adorable pink chart with cute cupcakes. Perfect for a sweet little diva's room. The charts are designed by Canvas Press so they are exclusive to their company. The Growth Chart is made of a durable canvas. The chart dimensions are 52'' height 1' wide, the top of the chart should be at 72'' (6 feet) since the bottom should be at 20 inches from the floor. To install simply clean the area in wall with damp cloth and let it dry. Peel away the secondary layer and start installing it slowly. The chart should be applied at 72'' exactly and using the easy stick material make your way to the bottom, save the backing or secondary layer in case you need to move the Chart. The Chart can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth avoid rubbing to hard.
I Think the Growth Chart looks perfect in my nursery and once my daughter is old enough to understand she will love it too and I'll have a second chance to hoard and save memories and good times.
