Almost Time For My Teen To Drive
It is just around the corner. Pretty soon my son will be driving. Before that he is going to need to learn how. Drivers ed is very important for pre-driving. I know he'll need the in-the-car experiences but he also needs to learn about driving and all the 'rules of the road' per se. Most kids don't pay attention to how driving works, when to use turn signals, speed limits when a sign isn't posted, etc. So they need to learn how. Just reading a book isn't going to cut it. My son is more of a visual and hands-on learner and so I love the program offered by igottadrive.com. IGottaDrive offers all sorts of instruction for teens so they can stay engaged and absorb as much as possible. They offer video library with driving tips, high quality videos, great pointers, like exiting a freeway or making a U-turn. Right now you can even find a great price with Groupon. A savings of $54.95. You can choose which state you are in (since state driving laws often vary) and take the whole class online. Highschoolers can even get high school credit for the class. With locations all over the country it was easy to find one for California.
