Wet n Wild Drinking A Glass Of Shine guest post from Polished Pathology

Hey guys! My name is J, and I run the blog Polished Pathology. Ruby made a post in a facebook group I'm in asking for guest posters, and I've never done one before so I thought what the heck, why not? She said she was doing reviews on Wet & Wild, and I immediately knew what I wanted to write about.

About a year ago, when I decided I wanted to do something more than wear mascara, I started browsing facebook groups about makeup and some reddit subs. I learned a LOT during that time, and saw there were some palettes that were hard to find. One of those palettes was Wet & Wild's Drinking A Glass Of Shine. This was a limited edition 8 pan palette of vibrant and neutral matte colors. Apparently when it first came out it was called I <3 Matte and was so popular that Wet & Wild brought it back as the one that I have for a brief period of time. I am a huge fan of matte colors, and I knew that I had to get my hands on this palette. Lucky for me, I was able to find one for 10 bucks a few months back, and have been enjoying it ever since!

Here is what it looks like!

It was overcast today, but I still wanted to take some pictures outside so you can see it. This is without primer, look at how pigmented they are!

I am a huge fan of these colors. They apply surprisingly well, and they don't clump or powder flake. For the look that I did, I used a base of the peach, the eyelid neutral. I took that from eyelid to browbone. I also used a light dab of Urban Decay primer potion, because I went grocery shopping right after this and wanted it to last :) Then I applied the dark brown from the middle of my eyelid up to the outer edge of my brow. I'm really bad at knowing the terms still, but I'm working on application! Then I did a gradient of the blue and the green in my crease, plus I added a dab of the purple to my inner eye crease. I have a navy blue liquid eyeliner that I used to make a tiny cat eye, because I wanted to be subtle yet fun. Then I lightly lined my lower lash line with the white, curled my eyelashes and applied my mascara and voila! I like how it turned out. All of the pics were taken in indoor bathroom lighting, it was my first time doing something like this so please go easy on me! :)
