Thanks to my husbands music preference I find myself  liking and listening to country more often than before. I'm married to a Texan and my honey loves his state, food and music, yes we live in Texas, if you live here you know we only have 2 seasons winter and summer, nothing in between, it's hot hot or really cold, yet starting in March (April this year), women in Texas without an age limit wear flip flops, yes we do and we love it, they are like walking on clouds: soft, comfy and fresh.

So when I was given the opportunity to review Wishbones footwear I was so happy, even more when I actually read about the company. I received the Wishbones in Classic Slim Carbon and I love their sleek design, their simplicity and the fact they come in a single color without any other embellishment than their name, makes this sandal pretty cool and a great match for  so many outfits. I'm a fan of the black color and it goes with almost everything I can wear the sandals to the store with shorts or with jeans to stroll the mall.The flip flops are manufactured using a 100% recyclable natural rubber, this high quality material is more comfortable, flexible and durable. The extra texture makes the sandals non-slip and the extra cushioning helps to absorb the impact while walking. The Wishbone flip flops are made with something called polygiene an antibacterial  treatment that inhibits 99% of the 18k types of bacteria that can be found in your home, it also makes your  Wishbones anti-odor and anti-fungi.

I actually started this post with a line from a country song because country is a big part of Texas and Wishbones has a heart as big as the Lone Star state, for every pair of flip flops you purchase and register, the company will donate a pair of sandals in your behalf, but they go beyond a simple pair of shoes Wishbones do not only provide shoes as handouts but  also helps communities through their partner SAVE (South African volunteer experiences). They teach children and women self defense, basic business and first aids skills.
