Looking for  newborn or baby blankets seems like a really easy task, easy enough I thought....... I was so wrong, there is hundreds if not thousands of brands, colors, materials, designs, etc. I was looking for a baby blanket for my newborn something really soft and warm, a blanket I can use at home but also take it with me so it definitively has to look good. After hours shopping at most babies stores I found nothing of my liking.

A blogger friend told me she had recently reviewed  a blanket by Balboa Baby and she was in love with it. So a few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to review their products, it was a blessing. The company sent me the New Diamond, Simply Softly Blanket.

This lovely blanket is made of a soft plush, it's fleecy, fluffy and warm for newborns who cannot control their body temperature but also great for babies and toddlers, The blanket is trimmed with a 100% cotton fabric with stylish and gorgeous patterns which fit perfectly with all the other items in the Balboa Baby Collection's. The Simply Soft Blanket comes in 3 gorgeous styles, the measurements are 30x40 inches, the blanket is machine washable and designed to keep your baby comfy and warm.

The blanket  is light enough for you to take with you everywhere and looks good without the too cute factor that seems to plague the baby stores, it's all we were looking for and my husband doesn't feel silly carrying it. The design is simple but fashionable perfect for parents looking for something  more voguish than your average baby cute prints or cartoons.
