A couple of months ago my husband and I purchased a car seat for our soon to be here baby, after installing the base in our car I thought we had everything covered, I read somewhere about  some car seat requirements for the state of Texas and as curious as I am, I had to check all the websites and pages related and gosh there is a bunch of info out there, for example I had no clue your children were not advised to wear bulky winter clothes or body suits in case of an accident so your car seat straps keep him completely safe.

I was thinking how I could keep my baby warm and safe and I thought I would have to use a nice warm blanket with a couple of safety pins around, that was until surfing amazon I came across the Cozy Cover instantly fell in love with this clever product, Since my baby will be born between August 15th and September 1st. I actually thought we would need only the winter version to keep the baby warm and cozy. So when a couple of weeks ago I was given the opportunity to test the summer/spring version I was not sure if it will actually works for us.

My answer came four days later when I decided to read and take some fresh air in our backyard. I was swarmed by mosquitos before I reached the chairs, of course I live in Texas and we have only two seasons: bone chilling winter and brain melting summer. The summers in Texas are hot, humid, long and packed with  nasty bugs; millions of them from: mosquitos to bees and red ants to yellow jackets. So yeah the summer version was not only a great addition to my baby gear but a blessing.

  12. These are super important to have, for some reason our family has always been 'super sweet treats' for the mosquitos! I like that it looks super light weight so it won't get all hot in there in the summer, but they will still have the needed protection.
