Some days I love blogging more than others and this week was one of those weeks I loved blogging with all my heart, it could all be related to the fact that I found 5lb (I might be exaggerating) of good looking, delicious, yummy amazing Belgian chocolate at my door.  "Hi my name is Constanza and I'm addicted to good chocolate". Yes I am. The chocolate as we know it had its humble beginnings in America, Columbus took it back from the West Indies to the old world. As you can imagine they didn't have Xanax or Midol so it was a hit.

Great chocolate is manufactured all over the world. I've visited most South American and many European countries and I tend to be more judgmental about their chocolate than their typical food, I have tasted great brands and delicious chocolates in South America, Argentina has great and I meant great brands and types of chocolate my favorite: The chocolate en Rama (branch chocolate) from Bariloche. I've tried one of my favorite white chocolates in Bolivia from Breik and bonbons from Para Ti.  From Venezuela El Rey, From Ecuador Pacari, Q Chocolates from Brazil. The US has nothing to fear with Jacques Torres Chocolate, Vosges, etc.

The Europeans are just incomparable, there are so many great brands. Europe made manufacturing and transforming cocoa beans into chocolate an art, all over Europe you can find small artisan stores with mouthwatering creations. For me 3 countries are master of their craft: Germany, Switzerland and Belgium, where you can find la creme de la creme in chocolate crafting. From Germany I love: Asbach and Hachez, from Switzerland my favorites are Teuscher and Neushaus. Now comes the real deal the Kingdom Belgium is a small country in the northwest of Europe and  my favorite export product is their Chocolate they have several brands to die for.

I am always searching for my newest addiction: Zaabar, Cote d'Ore and Galler, so when Guylian  Belgian Chocolate, sent us a ton of their artisanal chocolate to try, review and share with our readers, I actually felt like I hit the jackpot. They sent me so much chocolate it took me a while to test and try everything.  Check out the pictures an you will see I truly mean a lot. But I loved every single bit, their milk chocolate with  hazelnut or dark hazelnut  filling is heavenly it taste so good you can easily become addicted, their dark chocolate just melts in your mouth and it's so silky and rich, I could keep eating it the whole day.

Their marbled chocolate is light and creamy you can taste how it melts in your mouth and mixes with their signature hazelnut filling. This is the first time I actually felt bad by eating something so beautiful, their seahorses and seashell designs are so beautiful the mix of black and white chocolate on their marbled designs makes the chocolate so alluring. it's easy on the eyes and your pockets as well, the prices of Guylian Belgian Chocolate will give you the experience of  sampling artisanal chocolates in Brussels without  paying for a ticket to Europe or emptying your bank account.

After eating  all that chocolate in the picture  (I did share some with my kids and hubby) and gain another 15 pounds, all I can say is I'll be purchasing more Guylian Belgian Chocolate from now on, I'm quite delighted with their packaging, presentation and price. Overall their taste is wonderful, rich, flavorful, creamy and silky like a great chocolate should taste.

  1. OMG!! When I read this tonight I thought I died and gone to heaven! All that chocolate, I made sure I went real slow reading your post.
What else I would love to try is Vanilla Cream Truffles!
I've been sick the last few days, doctor doesn't really know yet what is wrong until more blood work is done. Boy would these chocolates make me feel better, lol!!!
There is a couple of the items on the rafflecopter I can't do and get the points. Instagram, I can't do this because I don't have a phone to download the app for it. Long time ago when it first started you could sign up for it. Well I didn't go back on because then it wasn't that popular. I forgot the password they said, well I've tried to get them to email it but they won't do it. If you don't have a phone with internet you can't do it. When I looked around on the page there isn't a sign up anymore for the computer. So that's 4 entries I can't get. But I'm still going to try to win, so wish me luck! Good Luck everyone!
Thanks for time to listen. Donna Harris
