Writing about clothes was definitely easier when I was under 120 pounds, it was not so bad before pregnancy and now is scary and doesn't help the fact I know I have a weight problem, Looking for clothes was never easy for me but  now it's a nightmare, the last 3 years my life has gone from jeans everyday to sweats and yoga pants forever. Pregnancy made it harder to leave my comfort zone.

I have been thinking I really want to look pregnant and not hide my bump under sweat shirts and XXL shirts or huge sweatpants, this might be my last pregnancy and I want to enjoy it while I feel myself beautiful, not an easy job, since pregnancy it's been harsh on me (my biggest problems acne and water retention). I have been looking for clothes to look good while pregnant and overweight, I wanted something comfortable that looks good, (my old pj's don't fit anymore) and I wanted a everyday dress mostly for  doctor appointments.

A friend told me how much she loved to wear Japanese Weekend while she was pregnant, I went to check their online store and figured out why she loved it so much, their clothes are beautiful and so stylish. I got in touch with them and they allowed me to review  their amazing  maternity collections, I fell in love with one pj's set and a dress and it made me sad having to pick only one of them. I actually told them how hard it was to pick only one and the people of Japanese Weekend allowed me to review both of them.

While my self esteem is not in its best moment I really felt like a gorgeous mom as soon as I tried this beautiful dress, I can see my bump it looks gorgeous, The d&a Hug a boo (blocked short dress in navy) looks adorable and it's made of renewable bamboo. The dress is almost all navy except for a little panel in the middle in lilac the colors look amazing for blondes, red heads or brunettes. The dress has a empire waist cut, the breast area is covered by the lilac panel, sleeves and back are created using the 2 long fabric strips which  also create a sleeve cap and the waist ties.

The best part is it can be worn while pregnant or in the maternity phase, the design makes breastfeeding easy and discreet. The fabric is so soft and it stretches to your needs. Pregnancy has made my skin really sensitive and most regular fabrics are not comfortable to wear however the Hug a Boo dress is soft and delicate on my skin. I love how one dress can be worn in different ways making it a staple in every mom to be  closet.

The second piece I had the opportunity to review was the: d&a maternity nursing pajamas with 3/4 sleeve (d&a= during and after) in black, The pajamas are so soft it is a pleasure to sleep  in them, I love how they look, and they are boosting my self esteem, I went from waking up feeling awful to waking up and looking good in my beautiful pajamas, again with empire waist cut.

The pajamas can be used while pregnant and nursing,  the clever design makes nursing a effortless, the bust and neckline are trimmed with a glossy ribbon tape and the edges are decorated with a beautiful lettuce hem. The pajamas are girly and flirty.
