I received the Jawbone Up from being part of the InnerCircle from RadioShack. The up I wasn't sure what it was when I first found I was going to be receiving it but once it arrived I was amazed at all the things it can do.

Here is a little about the Up.

Jawbone's UP™ is a wristband and app that tracks how you sleep, move and eat - then helps you use that information to feel your best. It takes a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. The wristband tracks your movement and sleep in the background. The app displays your data, lets you add things like meals and mood and delivers insights that keep you moving forward. UP works with iOS 5.1 or greater devices and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or later devices.
UP tracks how you sleep, move and eat, then helps you use that information to feel your best
Intelligently tracks hours slept, light vs. deep sleep and waking moments
Track every move, including distance, calories burned, active time, and activity intensity
Reminds you to move when you've been inactive for too long
Water-resistant - able to withstand thousands of showers and the occasional snowball fight
Compatible devices: iOS 5.1 or greater; Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or later
Large wristband designed for 7-8" wrist size

I got the Up in ONYX but it comes in 6 beautiful color choices so there is something for everyone.

I like that I can use the barcode scanner to track the food I am eating because its so quick and easy. I have tried similar apps before and had issues with it reading barcodes but not with the UP app.

The UP can track sleeping habits when you put it in sleep mode. I love the fact I can tell how many hours I slept in deep sleep and even how many times I woke up in the night.

The UP also acts like a Pedometer.

I know you are probably wondering what I was when I first pulled this out of the box. How does this information get into the app?

Well the piece that saw Jawbone on the UP is removable.
The up then Plugs into your headphone jack on your phone and syncs the information to your app.

The battery lasts around 10 days on a full charge. This is not waterproof so don't submerge it in water.

Each time you open the app it gives you tips and facts that can help you improve your lifestyle.
It also gives you your stats for the day.

You can set the up to do many cool things such as reminding you at different intervals that you choose to get active. Using this feature will run your battery down quicker as its causing it to vibrate every x amount of time between the times of day you set. I used this feature for a few days but working in a call center I can't be up and around as much as I would like so I had to turn this feature off as it was too distracting.

By using the UP I was able to discover that I needed to watch the sodium that I was taking in because the things I thought had been good for me had a high sodium content and I was taking in too much daily. I also discovered on most days I wasn't as active as I would like and am looking into walking 2 miles daily again like I had been for sometime.

If you want way to find how to better improve your lifestyle without having to pay for nutritionist or personal trainer and want 1 product that can do the job of 5 on the path to better health I highly recommend the UP by Jawbone.
