Its getting summer time and its time to get those feet flip flop ready. As I have gotten older I have noticed I am to the point that I need to take more care of my feet. In years past I never had a lot of dry skin on the bottom of my feet but this year they were looking pretty rough.

My old man uses the file looking ones to me they just look painful and I must admit I was afraid to use the Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano at first. Even the man who would ground his foot against the concrete porch to remove the dead skin from his feet wanted no part of it. So I sat down and popped in the batteries and went to town on my feet. I have some before and after shots from my first session for you.

As you see I am starting to get what looks like cracks along the ball of both feet which worry me as I would hate for them to get to the point of bleeding.

This is the pile that was left on the floor when I was done with session number one.

I am excited to shed this dead skin which means I can moisturize the good skin and get it back the way it should be. The Emjoi didn't hurt at all! I was relieved and was watching vampire diaries as I shed my way to healthier feet. I am embarrassed that I let my feet get to this point but I will be continuing to use the Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano, and pairing it with other treatments such as aloe socks and foot creams.

I understand that with the poor shape my feet are in that I will have to continue to use the Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano more to reach my goal but I think a few times a week will get me to my goal quickly. Just after 1 use I could feel a difference in my skin and there was no redness or sensitivity after using it.

I will give you a warning if your feet are very ticklish this may make you jump a few times till you're used to it.

The Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano retails for $24.95 or the corded version for $49.95
But wait theres more!!!( Yes I did that on purpose.)

They have attachments that are compatible with all the Emjoi devices. There is a manicure set (oh boy I want it!), different coarseness rollers, elbow exfoliators.
Ah who am I kidding? I want them all! I am constantly fighting with my elbows and I think I will buy that
attachment asap. The one that isn't compatible with this device is the Rotoshave which I want too!

If your feet are like mine or you are just looking for something to use to maintain your feet then I highly recommend the Emjoi Micro-Pedi Nano.

  1. I have horrible calluses. Have been going to get a weekly pedi to keep them from cracking, but that is harsh on the wallet. Will need to look into this!
