2013: A year in review.

2013 was a crazy year for me and lots happened. Not everything that happened was good, We lost my step brother and work became stressful. I had issues financially and wondered if I would ever get out of that hole.. A lot of good things happened as well, I discovered the financial issues I was having wasn't my fault and it would get fixed by the company that caused the issue. I had my 5 year anniversary with the Old Man and 6 year anniversary at work. I have worked with brands this last year I never expected in a million years would say yes. 

Life of a Mad Typer is almost 2 years old and I have learned so much in the time I have been running the site through thick and thin. I know we went mostly nail polish since October but I am working on re rounding the blog out. We have added 3 new bloggers to the site! I will be the main person running the site but with working full time and work getting more and more stressful I just haven't been able to give all I want to give into the site. So I found some friends to help me.

The new admins are:

Kasey: Kasey works with me and will be doing reviews occasionally through the site.

Nikki: She owns her own blog Her 3 Little Thinkers.

Ashley: She also has her own blog Manic Mama Of 2

Nikki and Ashley have already started working on getting some awesome things going for you all! We also know how much you all love giveaways so we are trying to bring as many as we can to the site. That being said I am suspending the Monthly beauty giveaways for now as I have depleted my stash and haven't had the chance to rebuild the giveaway box.

My goals and dreams for 2014

• I hope that the blog will continue to grow and that 5 years down the road I can remember these years with fondness will continuing to grow and evolve the site. I don't plan on leaving!
• I want to continue to improve up my skills with nail polish and nail art.
• I want to hone my nail photography skills as its much harder than people think.
• Continue to work on my design and photoshop skills.
• To one day not have to work a full time job and be able to blog full time.
