Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron from Flat iron experts

I received the following product in exchange for review. All thoughts are my own.

I recently got a chance to work with Flat Iron Experts  and added to my hair arsenal my first ever curling iron! I know what you must be thinking.. why haven't I had one before? Well its because my hair is curly so I always thought I didn't need one. Well I have learned over time from fellow curly haired friends that if you use a curl iron on your hair it can help tame it and be less frizzy. I really wanted to be able to have a bit more control over my hair so this is a nice addition to my hair tools.

I received   Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron which is valued at $84.99.
Because I had never used one before I had no clue really what to do. I tried the first time and got it all wrong and lucky I didn't burn myself! So I watched a video on the site of a girl using it and was like oh that's how you do it! So I went back into the bathroom armed

This is a burb about the product from their site:
The Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is rated #2 on our Best Curling Iron list for one reason alone and it is the price. If price wasn't a factor, this curling iron will for sure be the #1 choice. The Babyliss Tourmaline Ceramic Curling iron emits negative ions and far-infrared heat that brings a number of additional benefits to your hair:

1. Eliminates static electricity 3. Neutralize odors
2. Preserve more moisture within the hair shaft 4. Causes less damage to the hair cuticle

From our expertise and customer reviews, most people are saying that tourmaline curling irons gives longer lasting curls compared to the non Tourmaline or Ceramic Hot Tools curling irons and other drugstore brands. The Babyliss curling iron comes with 40 adjustable heats setting up to a scorching 428 F perfect for all hair types. Two other great benefit of choosing this curling iron is the 1 year warranty and the fact that this curling iron is Dual Voltage, meaning you can use this curling iron any where around the world while you travel. If you want a curling iron that is up to date and wouldn't mind paying a bit extra. This would be your choice. Flat Iron Experts recommend the Babyliss Tourmaline Curling Irons with 100% Confidence.

Ok so down to what I did!
This is before I got to work with the BaByliss and I put half of my hair up so I didn't get attacked halfway through by the rest of my hair (its evil like that!) I split it into 2 sections and then went to town.

This is after I did my hair with the Babyliss. I have learned from my friend Connie the more hair you grab the looser the curl. I have what's considered a loose curl naturally so you don't see much visual difference in this pictures (or at least I think so) but what these pictures don't show you is the texture that I could feel when I touched my hair. It was less frizzy an more controlled I really like the results and as little time it took I could see doing this to help tame my mane everyday before I run out the door.

Please ignore my bad ends I haven't had a trim in months! I just haven't had the chance to go but hopefully will soon.

Flat iron experts also provided me the KQC Thermal Shine Spray which I used with the curling iron.
As always when you use heat tools you need to use something to protect your hair and this spray rocks!
There is no overpowering smell with this as I have gotten with products in the past and my hair was gleaming after using this. I can't wait to use this with my straightener.

These are just one of many products that they offer on their site and if you are looking for any hair styling tools I highly recommend checking them out!

  4. I have naturally wavy hair and so not much need for a curling iron but would love to have one none the less. I have used the Therma Shine before and I love it.
