Beauty Army review

When I was approached by Beauty Army to do a review I jumped up and down at the chance. As you can tell I am a bit obsessed with Beauty products (my friends keep mentioning a nail polish intervention...) and I really love subscription boxes.

What I really like about Beauty Army is what also makes them different then most of the boxes I have encountered so far. They have you take a test and then give you the option to pick 6 of the 9 displayed or you can skip it. So no guessing here if you will get something you want or not (or already have) , great idea that is quite economical as money is tight now a days and why not take charge of your make up subscription? I really love the site, I did have an issue while placing my order but I emailed customer service and they had it fixed the next morning. What was that issue you may ask? Well in my half awake state after work I decided to pick the samples and ended up only picking one before submitting. I quickly emailed customer service and they sent back the list of what I had to pick from and asked me to pick my additional items. The service was great and I was awed at how quickly they had the issue resolved.

When the box arrived I opened it with excitement. I noticed the way the box opened was highly interesting. The outside with the address has the cool camo that you see above on the sides the Beauty Army on bottom and the web address on the sides. Under the shipping label the package splits and comes off the box held inside.

The box inside is well made and I'm considering keeping it for a extra jewelry box!

I know you can't see it but on top it says Beauty Army in glossy letters that set it apart from the matte box. Not only would this make a great jewelry box it could also be repurposed for a gift.

You open the box you see more camo, and I don't know about you but I have never been a fan of camo until now! I don't know why but having it on the inside of a plain white box was like the pop of color and girly enough it made me giddy for what was under the paper even though I knew Exactly what samples I was going to receive.

The double layer of paper was a definite way to make it seem like a present and added to the atmosphere of unboxing.

Here is what was in my box:
Addiction NV cosmetics lip habit in walk of shame
Nelson j argan oil 7 in 1 non foaming shampoo
ColorSmash hair shadow in gold rush
mini kittour travel bottle
Nailluv gel polish in Berry sweetie
Lashcards

I love this box and the great samples in it. I had been wanting to try other colors of gel polish and the fact that this was an option in the box excited me. I got Berry Sweetie and was so excited to try it to see what the color looked like! I was not disappointed.

I went to a wedding on Friday and I used the NailLuv polish and lash cards while in preparation to attend. Being one of the Photographers I didn't want to worry about my nails chipping so I applied berry sweetie (between you and me I would have applied it even if I hadn't had a wedding to go to.)

The lip gloss from Addiction NV has a minty smell to it and is not as bright on the lips as it is in the tube. Which to me is a good thing because I don't go very far from my natural lip color when I can help it. (I hate my lips with a passion.) I am sad to announce that the cosmetics company who made it is no longer in business.

I am thinking of using my mini kittour bottle to store lotion in my purse so I always have some with me.

This stuff is awesome Its like a coppery gold tone and is amazing! I have been dying to try a the new hair shadow and chalk scene!

I give Beauty Army 5 out of 5 stars!!!
