Cyanide Nails Indie nail polish review pale moon and piñata

Cyanide Nails Indie nail polish review pale moon and piñata

I was provided the following product in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

I recently got to work with a indie polish company by the name of Cyanide Nails. What first caught my attention was the name and logo, then the colors fascinated me and drew me in! I am so excited to show you some of their awesome products.

I received 2 colors from Cyanide Nails
pale moon
piñata

Pale moon                                         First off let me say that I absolutely love this color! This is the first holo in my collection and I love the silver look and that its not over bearing when in the office but once the sun hits it (or my iPhone flashlight because I love looking at it) it gleams with the color of the rainbow. It starts very transparent but is fully opaque with 3 coats. I was able to wear with without top coat for 4 days before I had issues with any chipping.

The formula on this polish is wonderful. It's not too thick or too thin and is easy to apply. I didn't have any issues with dry time, it dried within a few mins and I was able to complete 3 coats in less than 10 mins. This was also easy to remove and clean up. I didn't have any issues with staining of  the nail.

Piñata

Piñata is a textured glitter polish. It has a rainbow inside! It has: pink/purple, silver, copper, and blue glitter (mostly silver) in a transparent smokey base. It becomes opaque with 5 coats but makes an awesome top coat. If you like the Zoya Pixie Dust then this is a polish for you. I had no problems with the consistency of piñata, was easy to apply even after many coats. It requires a little scrubbing to remove but no more then regular glitter polish.

 More pictures!

I tried to do many angles and many lights to show you how these appear.

  1. I do like most of these polishes under the flash or in direct light. The holographic polishes don't look holographic in the crappy light we have here at work but I will give you under the right light they do look nice.
