Rimmel London Waterproof Kohn Eyeliner Review

As I said in my What's in my Bag post I love the Rimmel's Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in noir and I have since then gotten other Rimmel products to add to my collection. This is just what I have on me in my carry along bag.

So when I got the chance to try the ScandleEyes Kohl Liner I was excited. When I saw the color selection I was even more amazed that they offered so many. I usually like the hard to find crazier colors (Like blue) and the Turquoise is my favorite of this line followed by the Purple.

So what is the difference between Kohl and regular eyeliner?
Kohl is softer, glides on easier and can be smudged for the sultry dramatic look that is in style right now. Kohl is more of something for date night or a night on the town instead of every day use. You can layer Kohl eyeliner to get the desired look the more you layer the more noticeable the color.

If you have oily eyelids you may have issues with the Kohl and May want to stick with the pencil eyeliner. Other options are to use eye shadow in matching pigments on top to set it or use primer. This collection of eyeliners are highly affordable, widely available (like at Walmart), and a color selection where there is something for everyone. They are soft and glide on easy so they don't tug on the skin when applying. Disadvantage is that you have to get used to using them as they are different then regular eyeliner and are darker the more pressure you apply. Apply to much pressure and you have to sharpen the pencil because you will break off the tip, Safer to layer the color so its not too dark and not too light. I really do enjoy these pencils and will be using these in my Halloween makeup from now on as I tend to have reactions to the costume makeup. If your going to a concert or party and wanting to get the edgy rocker look then I recommend the sparkly black (bottom) and turquoise (top).
