So today I saw the Ahhh bra at Big lots for $10. I'd almost bought this in the past but I didn't want to have to ship it back deal with all that. So when I saw this I figured for it being in the store and having a return policy that I could cash in ASAP if things didn't work out. So I snatched the biggest one (3x) on the shelf and took it home.
As soon as I got home I dropped everything and tried it on. At first glance it looked really small. The material is very soft so I could see how it could be comfortable, but I have an issue not all have that wear a 3x top. That issue? I have massive boobs I recently got measured again and they said I'm a 54H. I am looking for support and I have had issues trying to find one that can give me what I am looking for. I am currently having to wear 2 Bra's and neither are the correct size as I haven't been able to find a quality bra to purchase since my size has changed.
When I first slipped this on I thought I might like it but after a few minuets the material stretched and no longer provided any support and it was really like wearing nothing as they said in the commercial but in a way they didn't mean. When you pull it out of the box it seems to be made of a thicker material then it really is. Once you put it on it has the texture of a "wife beater" that guys wear but really really thin. Lets just say the material leaves nothing to the imagination and you could see my veins through it. I tried to stretch it out and show you how you could see my skin color through the white but the lighting in my house is horrible and I don't think I was able to capture how this looks in person.Just imagine if you tried to use panty hose for a bra and you would get what ahh bra is like.
I am going to be heading to the store right after work to return the Ahhh bra and get my money back. So in my opinion it might be OK if your an A cup but anything beyond that isn't Going to get the support that they need. In my opinion this is a AHHHHH why did I waste my money!
Wow! Not worth the money...thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteThank you for reading! Totally agree!
DeleteTHANK YOU!!! I am also a large girl and hae toyed with the idea of these "as seen on TV" bras. They make them look and sound so great but....I can never bring myself to buy cause I feel it may be a waste of my money. Now I know!!! Thanks so much for saving me some $$ I will not be buying the Ahh bra!
ReplyDeleteIve been playing with the idea since both this and the genie bra came out but I never wanted to pay $60 for 2 for something that was so unknown. At 10 it was worth a shot.
DeleteWoah... thanks for letting us know what NOT to buy!

DeleteThought about purchasing one the other day... glad I didn't! Thanks for letting us know. =)

DeleteLove your NAHHHH Bra image! Thanks for the review, I've been wondering about this myself.
ReplyDeleteBought this bra in a 42DD for non-work hours. It is very comfortable. The spandex and supportive side on the band gives a surprising amount of support. Sometimes a bigger band around the bottom curls and cuts. No problems with that. I also ordered the bali cotton bras, 42DD-White and am returning it. This bra is better!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that I found your review because I was going to buy one of these but after reading this I will not even waste my time or my money. Thank you for saving me money on a wasted product and for an honest review.
