Yes these are from last year but they are amazing enough that I had to talk about them. I didn't get them until after it seemed everyone I followed online had them. Its fall again and nudes are coming out in full force. While they have been very popular this year I had not jumped the nude bandwagon. I am normally a natural or bright colored lippy but I hate my natural lips so when I had the chance to try this I said what can it hurt! 

I applied it on its own and while I did enjoy how it looked I added some clear gloss over it from bath and body works in caramel flavor which is also perfect for fall as well. I left the house ready to face the day and headed to work.

I hate my lips so I was scared to try these. People ask me all the time why I hate them. Well I have some acne scarring around my top lip that changes the shape of them and it bothers me so I am just now really playing with lipsticks. Another reason is now where my lip ring once was is now a new scar. I lost my lip ring in my sleep and didn't get it back in before it closed and I have been dragging my feet on deciding to get it repierced.

Back to the lipsticks!!! These are semi matte and last on average about 4 hours. The application was simple and I didn't need a lip liner (yay for skipping steps!) One swipe gives you beautiful color and the formula is anti feathering which makes me love it even more.

I reticently got a chance to work with Paula Ortega the owner of Blast Makeup. As you can tell by now I love makeup and beauty products. I am always willing to try new products to find the best makeup not only for me, but for you my readers. I received a lipstick in Crimson and eye shadow in Attraction. I usually gravitate towards neon's and black but as I will be going to more weddings in the future I wanted to get something in more of a soft purple/ pink shade. By reading the name you would think Crimson is a blood red color, which I admit frightened me, but in truth was a nice dark pink just a few shades darker then my natural lip color.
