China Glaze Lite Brights Collection

Hello!! I'm excited to share with you this recent purchase of the China Glaze Lite Brights 

Collection. I found them to be the cheapest on Ebay.

In this Collection there is a total of 12 gorgeous colors, including creams, shimmers and two with micro glitter. 

Now let's get talking polish. I shall do this is rainbow order.

Hot Flash - under day light bulbs in light box

 First up is Hot Flash

This is such a gorgeous watermelon red. Its not 100% opaque, it reminds me of a jelly polish but not as sheer as one.

This is two coats with top coat.

 

Bite Me - Under day light bulbs in a light box

Next, Bite Me is a bright pink with little bit of gold shimmer that dries to a semi matte finish. Your looking at 2 coats with a top coat. 

I'll Pink to That- Under day light bulbs in a light box

I'll pink to That is pretty barbie pink with a hint of fuchsia. This is color is very opaque in two thin coats.   

Lip Smackin' Good- Under day light bulbs in a light box

Next up is Lip Smackin' Good. This is a pretty pink has a slight pink shimmer. The shimmer does not stand out to much. 

This is two coats and you will want a top coat. 

Papa Don't Peach- Under day light bulbs in a light box

Papa Dont't Peach is a coarly bright orange with gold micro glitter. Dries a bit textured, you will want a top coat to bring out the glitter and to have a smooth finish. This one was a little thick, thicker then We Got The Beet. I have 3 thin coats with a top coat.

Look at the gold micro glitter!!

None of Your Risky Business- Under day light bulbs in a light box

Next is None of your Risky Business. None of Your Risky Business is beautiful orange pastel creme. With two thin coats to be opaque with no white base topped with a top coat.

Whit it Good- Nail swatch is natural lighting

This is Whip It Good. Whip it Good is a yellow cream with hint of green. Your looking at two thin coats with a top coat. This color was hard for me to capture. 

Lime after Lime- Nail swatch is natural lighting

Lime after Lime is for sure a neon/pastel lime green. This one was streaky when I was applying. I used 3 coats with a top coat.  This color was also hard for me to capture.

What I like about Blue- Under day light bulbs w/flash in a light box

Next is What I Like About Blue. This  Blue has a gold shimmer to it and leans more towards a turquoise. This is two thin coats and dries semi matte. I used a top coat to enhance the gold shimmer.

I Got a Blue Attitude- Under day light bulbs in a light box

Next is my favorite. I got a Blue Attitude is Blue/Purple depends how how you look at it. Either way it is so pretty. I did not notice the very little shimmer until I was editing the video. 

This is two thin coats with a top coat.

Let's Jam - Under day light bulbs in a light box

This is Let's Jam. Let's Jam is a light lilac purple with blue shimmer. This is two thin coats with a top coat to bring out the pretty blue shimmer.

One Last Halloween look- Blood Splatter

Every time I see a blood splatter rmani I think of the show Dexter. I cant help it, it was one of my favorite shows. We even named our dog Dexter, I'm not joking, I'll see if I can find a pic with his name tag showing. Either way I'll add a pic at the end of the post because well he's my little bug and why not lol. Ok onto the mani.

I really wanted to use my new Shangri- La plates from Bundle monster, I know these would be awesome for lead lighting but sometimes I'm a bit lazy lol.  Onto the mani a nice jelly sammich with stamping on top, details after the jump. 

 

 

Glitter Watermarble Tutorial

I took inspiration from Opal's video for her Easter nails. Check out the inspiration for my mani here: https://youtu.be/IzYNHU9R6oM. 

After seeing Opal's nails I wanted to try this technique for myself. I only recently got the art of the watermarble down and now that I have done it I find it relaxing and love the endless possibilities. So first I had to pick a clear to watermarble with. I had seen so many talk about clears they have tried that didn't work for them. I remembered I had the NOPI top coat plus sitting in a drawer that I hadn't used and decided to try that. While it gave me more of a spread than I expected I love the way the results turned out.

Glitz 'n Pieces Collection from China Glaze

I was surfing around China Glazes site and found this collection. Of course I was curious and looked for some swatches to see if it was anything I liked. As usual when I look up China Glaze I always get PolishAholic lol ( I am falling in love with that blog!)

I recently checked out the Graffiti Glitter and loved the look but not the color. So when browsing I have spotted Mosaic Madness and Let me tell you after seeing swatches I am in LOVE! What a great collection!
