This is my first drone and I was super excited when it first arrived. I plugged it up and let it charge and had it ready to play with the next day. The battery is about 10 mins at full charge. I set it up in copter mode without the guards. I should have used the guards as a beginner. After one battery charge I still had not gotten the hang of it and put it back on the charger
When I first started using it I was playing with it in the house. Then the old man kept on me that I should take it out side. I went to pick it up after turning off the controller and it went crazy and started on its own hitting the ceiling and I had to catch it. When it took off my hand was in the way of the blades. It didn't cut me but it did break off one of my  nails. I took it back outside and the old man was watching me play with it. I again turned off the controller went to pick it up because I had ended up getting it upside down and it started on its own again breaking even more of my nails. It took off and flew into the fence and when I went to grab it and hurriedly unplugged the battery I found that one of the blades was broken. I replaced the blade and the old man took over saying he could do better. He got it to fly around a lot better than I did. I think my biggest problem was that I took off too fast and freaked out when it zoomed into the air. I always ended up bringing it back down too quick. I will get the hang of this sooner or later but it is taking a bit. It has a built in camera and came with a memory card and I would love to be able to use it to get some shots to use for youtube videos but I am still super skiddish with it. I am so afraid I will end up getting it on the roof or on top of the school across the street or even in the power lines. Its great for a beginner like me but I am not sure why it sometimes takes off on its own, maybe I shouldn't turn off the controller before trying to pick it up.
