RITUALS bath & body care review

I received five products from RITUALS Tao bath and beauty line. Before I go into details on each product I wanted to comment on everything as a whole, especially the scent. The scent Tao, white lotus and yi yi ren, of this line is so soothing. It's a neutral natural scent in that it's neither feminine nor masculine. Think along the line of Aveda but better! Now I've had and tested these products over a week before review.

Silence Hand Scrub: described as a luxury hand scrub for daily use, which deeply cleanses, refreshes and soften your hands. Enriched with nourishing oils that are easily absorbed by the skin to restore suppleness and moisture balance. As a self confessed nail nut this was the item I was most excited to try! And I have to say I didn't disappoint. The exfoliation is very fine so it's not painfully abrasive but it still gets the job done. 10/10 would recommend

Mei Dao Body Cream: described as a rich moisturizing body cream which leaves the skin feeling silky soft. I absolutely loved but especially because it soaked it super fast. Living up to its claims it's moisturizing but it doesn't leave a greasy residue behind. Was ideal for use before swatch photos. 10/10 would recommend

Xiu Xi Calming Massage and Body Oil: described as a nourishing oil with a calming effect on body and soul. I really enjoyed using this right before bed on my hands arms and chest because it really was calming. It also soaked in fast for a oil but still kept friction from building up. 8/10 would recommend because of limited use

Wu Wei Calming Bath Foam: described as a
sense of ultimate relaxation in the soft foam of Wu Wei calming bath foam. It had been forever since I'd taken a bubble bath but this was enjoyable. Definitely a gentle foam, not like a drowning in bubbles bath we take as kids, and the scent was again very relaxing. 9/10 would recommend

T'ai Chi Foaming Shower Gel Sensation: described as the most gentle shower foam your skin has ever experienced. This was...unique to say the least. The description sheet I received says as soon as the gel comes into contact with water it will turn into a rich and nourishing foam. Think shaving cream but to wash your body. Also this never came out a gel for me but straight to a foam and after using it for a week it sort of sputters and splatters everywhere so I wonder if I got a bad bottle or it was damaged. The foam itself worked well enough and again I enjoy the smell. 6/10 would recommend, seems unnecessary unless you want to splurge

Hope you guys enjoyed! Many more products are available on the RITUALS site
