I have long nails and have had no issues while using it and experienced no comfort. I was afraid that I was going to have issues with it with my nails being so long but was pleasantly surprised.
The OX100 doesn't require any crazy batteries that maybe hard to find in your area. It uses 2 AAA batteries. I am highly impressed with this device and it has given me an insight that I never had before.
